Thanks to Antar, we are pleased to introduce a custom version of Pokemon Online 1.0.53 that includes a VGC-style timer to be used in VGC battles. This entails enforcement of the overall 15-minute battle time limit and the 1-minute-per-move time limit, and is sure to be helpful for those practicing for competition. We are, as of now, the only server to have a faithful VGC timer scripted!  The latest issue of Smogon's web zine, The Smog #18, has been released! It's always fun to release an issue, as we put so much effort into it that it's really the brainchild of love for this community and competitive Pokemon in general. There are a plethora of articles that you can whet your appetite with this time around. This is an issue with over 30 articles! Check out Rotom-W, our featured Pokemon, read up on tournament coverage, copyedit like the pros with some help, and look at all of the wonderful RU and NU coverage!  We'd like to congratulate HagridTwin, WaterPokemonTrainer, and the rest of their family on being awarded the title of "most successful family of videogame Pokemon players" by Guinness World Records due to their consistent success in officially sanctioned Pokemon tournaments. There is a two-page spread about them in the 2012 version of the Guinness World Records: Gamers Edition which is on sale starting today. For those unfamiliar with the Arnold family, their impressive history is as follows:
