Leaf Guard

Description

Prevents status effects from afflicting the wielder in sunlight. Leaf Guard also prevents the use of Rest. There is no out of battle effect.

Competitive Use

Really a situational ability that is generally outclassed by others. Leafeon gets it but would rather use Chlorophyll, and the same applies to Tangrowth, except it also gets Regenerator. Thus, it is pretty much the worst of the beneficial sun abilities.

Related Abilities

Chlorophyll boosts Speed in sunlight, Solar Power boosts Special Attack in sunlight at the cost of health.
