Description

Deals damage and has a 10% chance to lower the opponent's Speed stat by one stage. In a double or triple battle, this move will hit all opposing Pokemon adjacent to the user. If it hits multiple Pokemon in this way, its Base Power is reduced to 75% of its usual power. Attacks on multiple Pokemon are considered separate attacks, so the move may hit one Pokemon but fail to hit another.

Competitive Use

Bubble is much too weak to be worthy of competitive use. BubbleBeam is 100% superior, barring PP, and even then, almost everything would prefer to use Surf or Hydro Pump due to their superior power.

Related Moves

BubbleBeam is similar, but with 65 Base Power.

Surf has 95 Base Power and no added effect.

Hydro Pump has 120 Base Power, 80% accuracy and no secondary effect.
