Force Palm

Type Power Accuracy PP Priority Damage Target
Fighting 60 100% 10 0 Physical Single non-user

Description

Deals damage and has a 30% chance to paralyze opponent.

Competitive Use

Force Palm's Base Power is too low to merit competitive use on offensive Pokemon. It does provide support to bulky Fighting-types in lower tiers, such as Hariyama. However, the Technician ability will boost this move to 90 Base Power, making it powerful on top of the paralysis chance. Breloom is the only Pokemon that will have access to this combination, but Force Palm is usually outclassed by Low Sweep, which offers a consistent method of lowering the target's Speed.
