DescriptionIf the opponent attacks using a damaging move, then this move will deal 150% of the HP lost from that attack back to the opponent. This move fails if the user moves first in that turn. In double or triple battles, the target of this move is the last Pokemon that successfully attacked the user, even if this is a non-adjacent target. Although a physical move, this move does not make contact with the opponent. Competitive UseMetal Burst is useful on slow, bulky Pokemon such as Aggron, which has the Sturdy ability. It can be used on both physical and special attacks, and has a good chance to OHKO the attacker. However, many times this move will result in a one-for-one sacrifice, a strategy that can bear no fruit. Related MovesCounter is a Fighting-type equivalent that counters physical moves.
