Competitive Use

Rage should not be used competitively. Its Base Power is far too low, and it is completely outclassed by stronger Normal-type moves, such as Return and Double-Edge.

Return is a competitive alternative with 102 Base Power.

Double-Edge is a stronger alternative with 120 Base Power, but has recoil damage.
