Competitive Use

Wing Attack should never be considered for competitive play since other, more powerful or more desirable moves exist. Brave Bird and Drill Peck are both stronger, and moves such as Aerial Ace and Pluck, while having the same Base Power, have better secondary effects.

Related Moves

Brave Bird is a more powerful option, but it inflicts recoil.

Drill Peck is a more powerful option.

Aerial Ace is an option that ignores all accuracy and evasion modifiers.

Pluck is an options that steals the opponent's Berry, if it has one.
