Change your preferences here. Slow StartThis Pokémon's Attack and Speed are halved until the end of this ability's effect. This is not a stat drop. After five turns on the field, the Attack and Speed stats return to their normal values. The counter resets every time this Pokémon is switched out. If this Pokemon loses its ability due to Gastro Acid or Skill Swap, the Attack and Speed stats return to their normal values. If Slow Start is skill swapped onto a Pokémon already under the effects of Slow Start, the counter is not reset. In Japanese versions of Diamond / Pearl, removing Slow Start does not undo the Attack and Speed drop; the Slow Start Pokemon must still wait 5 turns.
