Dear ASB,

It has come to the attention of me and other proj mods that some people have been requesting subrefs for battles before DQ time has elapsed, so I am going to clear up some things for y'all.

DQ time is the minimum amount of time that must pass before you are allowed to DQ your opponent if it is your opponent's turn to post, or ask for a subref if it is the ref's turn to post. Note, however, that this timer starts from the last post containing orders or reffing. If, for example, DQ time is set to 2 days and the last post that contained either orders or reffing was on September 22nd at 7:00pm GMT, then whoever is next to post has until September 24th at 7:00pm GMT to post before you are allowed to DQ them or replace them. It is not required to DQ or replace immediately at this time; this is a minimum, not a maximum.

The only time you are allowed to DQ an opponent or get a subref before DQ time elapses is if the opponent you are DQing or the ref you are replacing explicitly says that they are unable to continue.

If DQ time for a battle is not specified, it is assumed to be 3 days.

If you DQ your opponent or seek a subref before DQ time has elapsed, you risk forfeiting the match and all prizes that you would claim from the match. This is your final warning.
