Yeah that's the main problem, I keep on forgetting that compared to the amount of sales Pokemon gets the competitive community is really small, but it's not like nerfing these abilities would take THAT long, and it's not like the casual community would really care. Any speed boost would help in the easiness, but I will admit Sand Veil and Snow Cloak would most certainly remain untouched, because the casual fans would actually notice that they're getting hit a lot more than in the previous gens.

Why not now? I could happen, I don't believe it but who knows. Nerfing those abilities would rock lol, but let's try to remember that Game Freak don't spout new abilities to cater for Smogon battlers lol.

A new type isn't going to happen, sorry. The new typings and whatever have been rumored since gen 3 and it has never happened then so why now?

On the flip-side, I would love new abilities. Why not an ability/move that would slightly boost speed by like .10%? It may seem unbalanced at first but it would bring the metagame to a whole new level and it would make so many otherwise decent Pokemon (Chandelure) a whole lot better and a ton of other Pokemon as well. More viable Pokemon generally means a more balanced metagame, since things aren't just stagnant as hell. I also hope they nerf previously broken abilities like Sand Rush and Swift Swim (make it +1 speed instead of +2) or Sand Veil and Snow Cloak (+10 evasion instead of +20) but I might've told you that before.

I was thinking maybe a new mon or two with an ability. I can't see them changing one of the types. Although, I heard there might be a new type coming out.

If Ice was resistant to Dragon not going to lie the Ice typing would suck a lot less. Although yeah there should be an immunity or at least more resistances. Poison?

This game needs a Dragon Immunity

6th gen seems very promising. As it seems like they are going for quality over quantity. I really hope so too. Also more walls could help. A lot.
