The thing is, it's still useful even if the opponent runs Magnezone. Skarmory's job is to block physical attackers, and even without leftover recovery, it can still pull that off, as It did to your Tyranitar. It also set up spikes whenever possible, and phazed unfavorable match-ups. If it gets KOed, it becomes a problem unless you have something else that can take physical hits.

yeah im surprised more people dont run that set. i mean its dead weight if they dont have magnezone but still its nice to get rid of that weakness

Yeah, with Roost, he already had recovery, and getting trapped by Magnezone is a pain in the arse.

Something tells me the results would've been better if I remembered to replace the items. Slowking wasn't holding anything, Blissey had a Lum berry, and Raikou wasn't Scarfed.

What were Latias Speed EVs? If it outspeeds a Max Speed Rash Raikou, then you would win. If doesn't, You'd still would've won because latias is bulky enough to take a HP Ice.
