That's correct, for a Therian choose an odd numbered frame and make sure no other Pokemon are transferred as well at the same time. Also, when I did them, I tested the seed and method on a slot two pokemon when transfering over two gendered Pokemon (such as two Riolu), as a precaution.

Glad that you were able to find a method that produced desirable results! Your starting custom 1 frame certainly is interesting; there seems to be multiple aspects that can affect it. It seems like more research into this may be required to find a universal method that can apply to everyone. I'm not entirely sure about how the researcher results correspond with the PIDRNG anyway, haha.

Thanks to you, I got that near flawless Impish DW Lugia! A few things...for me, when I had memory link activated and clicked, I noticed that my starting PIDRNG frame = starting Custom 1 frame. As a result, my offset for gendered pokes was 1 and for non-gendered was 0 (Lugia was the former, like you suggested). I don't know if this is hardware-specific or what, but it seems that the different offsets work for different people. not sure since I've only observed it in my case (I was using the original DS for RNGing)

Btw, finding and confirming seeds was a pain the ass...

No worries. The guide alone is immensely helpful. I'm glad that this isn't just an isolated problem. Your suggestion is good, and I'll try that and let you know. I have Memory Link clicked because it is active, and I usually check its effect on the initial PIDRNG frame. So far, it hasn't done anything to it, but who knows...

Hello, first thanks for the feedback. There is no calibration step specific for Unova link, although some users have reported offsets for the spinner sequence, or that the initial PIDRNG frame is calculated as if Memory link was used. The best I can suggest is that when advancing with the spinner, compare the sequence you actually get with the results of the custom one column. If you can find the sequence somewhere within that, you would then need to deduce a reliable method to determine the starting position for the custom one column for future attempts. Sorry I couldn't be of more help with your problem.

Hey, first of all thanks for your guide! It looks like DR RNG will not be too bad. I was just wondering if there's a calibration step needed for Unova Link. The reason I ask is because I've been trying to hit my spinner sequence, but with no luck - and I'm usually pretty consistent in BW2 standard RNGing.
