TBH, I kinda want to run it if you let me. I like the flow of the Pike with the player getting prepared for one single battle and trying to win with whatever is left. It messes around a lot with strategy which I find cool.

So yeah, I'd like to take over if you let me. In that case, what should be done? Should the council be notified, do I just hijack the thread or what?

I don't disagree. I also don't really feel like taking over/being in charge of the Pike though (and I really wasn't aware that I was "this time," until someone asked me about it the other day). If you want to do it, feel free to, and if you want to overhaul the prizes, that's understandable as well. As long as they aren't ridiculous, I'll be OK with them.

Alternatively, if you don't want to run it, you can find someone else that will or just shut it down haha

The Pike sucks. At least challenging the Pike sucks. That is why nobody does it anymore.

I mean, take Pwnemon's challenge. He got 3 battles and Lucy and several ills. Because of those ills the end result (assuming he doesn't surprise me) is 3CC and 3KOC. While for the same 3 1vs1 matches + 1 3vs3 match you would get 5CC and 18MC. For the hall you would get 6CC and 6KOC for the 3 battles alone.

Sure if he won against Lucy he would get like 19CC and 15KOC, but most doesn't. I see what Lou have done, but I think he was too radical. Having a good prize if you win doesn't change the fact that if luck screws with you (likely), you will get pretty much nothing and that is extremely frustating. I think the prizes should be changed to be more balanced at least (so a loss isn't that terrible while a victory isn't that OMFG LOTTERY).

Okay. Most of the mons I got aren't really maxed, so I guess I can axe a couple moves. Although I think Smeargle at least should be maxed.

Maxed might be a bit too much, but we'll go with it I guess because I can't remember for the life of me what Lou had in mind.
