Use PokéRNG for that. I actually just use RNG Reporter because I'm too lazy to open up PokéRNG, but it's necessary for Hidden Power spreads.

Ok, you see those letters that say "Elm responses for seed"? They not only let you know if you hit your seed, but also let you know what frame you are currently.

At the left of the frame's PID is the Elm response corresponding to the frame. But be aware, that using Elm calls advances the frame by 1, which means that you get the Elm response corresponding to frame 17, you are in frame 18.
