RuneScape is one of the oldest running mmos, but I don't know how pve it is since it predates WoW.

How low-end is low-end? MMOs typically have low system requirements. The only MMO I can honestly recommend right now is Guild Wars II, and your comp would have to be pretty old to not be able to run it. WoW should be even easier to run.
