I used modest cause I couldn't get a calm lol but yes it had grass knot just because. HP flying is better, maybe HP ice. Depends on how the rest of your stuff covers fighting/grass and dragon.

Lol sounds good! Calm nature with no Hidden Power? I may be RNGing one soon.

Yes I am, it's great. I won a tourney recently with one and got myself about Ł200's worth of gear from it. :D

Hey Zog. Hope you're doing well. Since you seem to be the expert on bulky Pokémon, are you a fan of bulky Thundurus?

Ohhh my Terrakion used a very bulky spread with virtually no speed EVs, actually. Speed's almost always the most redundant stat, especially on a scarfed pokémon that's fast already, so it was something like 222hp/252atk/4def/32spd I think. Still outsped everything, and the extra bulk won me a LOT of games (especially at Birmingham where it was most important). Doesn't work this year though cause of swift swimmers.

Wow, that was an epic game! Yay for flinch hax :p. Were you expecting Thunder Wave from Thundurus? (Any non-status attack you would have obviously outsped without QA, and I don't see Taunt being too useful in that scenario.) BTW, was 4 HP / 244 Atk / 4 Def / 4 SpD / 252 Spe the "weird" spread that you said you used on your Scarf Terrakion? It's what's listed in the analysis as the ideal spread because it guarantees survival against Flying Gem-boosted Acrobatics from Tornadus. There are a few more differences between the set you suggested and the Scarf set that Darkmalice posted in the analysis, so I'm not really sure if it would be the best EV spread for me (seems like it might not be worth reducing my damage output, albeit slightly, against everything in exchange for turning a 93.75% chance of survival against one specific threat into 100% chance of survival).

But he doesn't outspeed enemy priority attacks. :D
Won me a couple of games at worlds actually, and would've won me another had I not been haxed a little. Watch how it turns the tide of the battle in this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9eIviZ-6Bco

Thanks :). One last question if you don't mind... what really is the purpose of Quick Attack on the Scarf Terrakion set you suggested to me? Although I don't see myself using the 4th move, it seems like EQ (though being locked into it is dangerous in double battles), Return, or X-Scissor would be potentially more useful than QA. He'll be outspeeding pretty much everything except some Swift Swim / Chlorophyll users.

Go for haban and psychic. Dragon type attacks are the only ones that threaten to OHKO Latias really so it's the better option over yache. Psychic's just really cool for whacking Toxicroak with, especially since most noobs using croak don't know people carry psychic on Politoed. It's a nice, easy OHKO and usually makes a game-winning move.

Thanks. If I use Draco Meteor, do you think I should use White Herb, or would Haban (or Yache) be better? Also, what do you suggest for Politoed instead of Encore? I've had Psychic, Swagger, and Hypnosis suggested to me, but the accuracy of Hypnosis (and to a lesser extent, Swagger) really turns me off, so I'm thinking Psychic since I lack any Psychic-type attacks (it would be nice against Toxicroak).
