Simulators. I don't play on DS. If you want to take part in a tour, either go the RU Metagame subforum and check the thread with the tittle ''RU mini tours'', or go to the Tournaments thread.
-
nice! Are tourneys with simulators or are they for the DS? I've always wanted to join one but never had the time.
-
I won the RU mini-tour #2, and the CUT was my prize.
-
Hey, how'd you get a CUT? Did you get a badge or somethin'? :D

I forgot the most important thing. Before you chose a poke, make sure that you have actual experience with most of the pokes's sets. So if you want to reserve Deoxys-D, make sure that you have experience with his 2 most popular sets, the fast spiker and the suicide spiker. It would be very beneficial for you to make some offensive teams (Deoxys-D works in bulky offensive or all out offensive teams) and try out his potential, and then, yes, you could try and do his analysis. Just prepare for the worst, because this is your first analysis, and it might be locked after a while, due to low quality. This won't be your fault(if it happens, i don't want to scare you), as no matter how much effort you put, it is just logic that a new member hasn't get used to how analyses are written and presented...
Anyway gl, and if you want anything ask me!

Thanks for the advice man. Yeah, I understand the community's thoughts about someone as new as me writing such a large analysis. I DO have a tendency to rush things a bit sometimes, so I should probably just hold on for a bit. Do you think Deoxys-D is too much? I took it because it seemed pretty easy and it wasn't very top priority. Thanks again for the advice! :)

Hi man! I want to give a bit of advice about reserving and making analyses. Since you are a new member to smogon, and also a new member to the c&c subforum, it is better that you ether stay as an observer for the first few months, or pick very simple pokes. This is because if you chose something complicated (as Jirachi), it will be very difficult to finish it, as you are unfamiliar with the process, lack some epxerience, and finally you lack the knowledge to write a whole text about a poke. So if you get the analysis of a popular poke that needs a lot of work, most probably it will be taken from you, because it won't be up to standards (analyses of the best OU pokes need to be in top quality), and all your effort will be wasted.
All this stuff i told you was to help you get to C&C, and get how it works. Take it as friendly advice :D

Good luck improving your skills then! I play mostly OU and RU, and sometimes Ubers.
