Well sometimes your the pigeon and sometimes your the statue, I'm trying to think of birds that can help with the weakness to ogre though, have you tried mence and dragonite or are those dragons and not birds.

Gliscor is just a bird that learned how to fly in the sand without having to well you know become a skarmory, and its not old. It glides instead of flying.
