yez but then wouldn't it just be easier to separate TC and IS ?_?

idunno about the latter, but they still have to go through a nomination period just like any other badge where questions of character can be brought up

but I thought IS access was also based on maturity and stuff and 4 votes doesn't weigh in on character. Also I read somewhere long ago that they were going to get rid of the IS access at one point?

the checks didn't give any access because you only needed one vote to get one, TC required/requires four, which is a bit more commitment to the site
