i think for me i try to stick to writing what i know so my songs end up about my actual life and i think it's the most amazing feeling when you actually say exactly what you felt exactly when you felt it.

but i think sometimes things get really complicated when youre losing someone or trying to forget somebody and sometimes youre not feeling just one thing youre feeling so many things and it's so complicated that it's almost impossible to pin down one way you feel to write about it.

so when that happened to me a while ago when i was writing my song i uh i thought maybe if what im feeling is too complicated to write about maybe i should just write about the story of what happened from beginning to end because i remembered everything ALL TOO WELL

don't do that to me you have no idea what that does to me oh god
