mm the thing with vaseline is it slightly weakens the plastic (technically not proven, but cubes usually break faster after vaseline) so it's more prone to dropping, but if you're careful it works p well

Interesting, I've always wanted to make one from scratch but that would clearly be exceedingly difficult. And I've always used vaseline in mine

ah I see. Have you tried using non-storebought cubes? You have the order them online (and usually from China lol) but basically you assemble them yourself, and lube them with silicone (not WD-40 ever). Stickers last 10x longer, cube turns 10x better and lasts 10x longer.

I used to be really really into cubing but it curbed for some reason but yeah it's always cool to see someone who knows how to solve one. !_!

Somewhere between 60-90 seconds, my cube is getting crappy though but it's hard to get one where it's used enough to move easy but new enough to move correctly

Also I hate peeling stickers more than anything else in life so if they peel I have to somehow alter them
