Yea I read it but it just makes everything more complicated and frustrating so I don't feel like fixing it atm lol. I'll have to go over it with Jellicent and august and revamp the RW points system as a whole.

DITTOCROW, Sorry for nitpicking, but if you read my convo with august today he actually said that award points are rewarded for each research pokemon that made it to top 5 in the ladder. Since I laddered to top 5 with Bouffalant and Regirock in last research week, would I earn 6 pts? Doesn't seem like the policy has changed since then.

You can only get the "Getting in the top 5 on the PS RU ladder with one of the above Pokemon that meets one of the challenges - 3 points" once per research week, because then people could just make like 50 alts lol. Also it's not double points, just 3 points per alt, and 1 alt is allowed so it's a maximum of 3 points.

award question as usual - if I made it to top 5 with 2 research pkmn would I get double points? If I made it to top 5 with 2 diff accounts using diff research mon, would I be awarded both times?

Well you posted the sets on Sep 7th, 2012, 6:46:04 PM, and I calculated all of the round 1 points around 7:00 and posted the winners around 7:30. You got in the top 5 later that night so you'll get 3 points in the new round

either that or can you add points for me reaching top #5 with Regirock and Bouffalant? All of this happened within the deadline.
