I'm just asking why it's Encourage over Brute Force. I understand the need for consistency.

It is important that only one romanization is used for each translated word, since that makes doing find-and-replace when we have English translations much simpler.

Though I don't plan to write analyses, as I'm a mediocre battler and don't really have the time, I have a question about one of the items on Smogon's official Romanized list:

Encourage. Though it's certainly the most common translation of this ability, Brute Force is also accurate and probably more so. Is the only reason for using Encourage familiarity?
