nope, you don't need to edit any of the [desc] sections for moves since bmb has already gone through and standardized all of them

One last, tiny question: capefeather's post doesn't have the [short desc] and [long desc] information. Should I edit those in while GPing his stuff?

Most of the entries here need to be beefed up a bit, if you could add more information/read them over that'd be great. Return and Rock Slide in particular I think need to be expanded. Take a look at my last post in the thread to get an idea of the amount of info that's expected.
