    ahh yooo haha thats awesome
i think illustrator should work and feel more similarly to flash
the way i see it, and i may be retarded,
but to me it seems illustrator is more like manipulating shapes and lines
rather than creating painterly strokes as you might do in photoshop
but because theyre all adobe programs their like, interfaces and some tools are homogenous
a lot of people end up using the pen tool for a lot of different things
zracknel uses illustrator a lot and hes a professional so he really knows how to use it
if you have any questions im sure he can help you out if you ask

lol i really don't feel like putting any of them in sai though. sai uses raster. mx uses vector. i'll try adobe illustrator for a while, thanks for the recc.

edit: lol, fuck, just realized you just said mx uses vector.

    oooooh word okay
have you ever tried adobe illustrator?
its similar to flash cause youre using vector as opposed to raster
i have a lot of trouble using vector programs personally though
my buddy got me a cracked version of photoshop cs3
im afraid to update it to cs5 though, haha
i should do that at some point though
i think a lot of the bittbox brushes are only for photoshop
but maybe theres a way to use them in sai?
im not sure how the files all work together

i use macromedia flash mx for most of the drawings that are edgy that you see in my thread. it gets some smooth lines, but their mostly for animation, due to the fact that they get a bit weird if you draw like a circle or something

it's okay, i mean, it's for someone who really wants to draw manga and stuff. i use it because it's free, though i've never tried photoshop. the brushes on sai are smooth as hell, yilx uses it himself. but i don't like it that much, it's confusing because theres so many versions and stuff, man. i just downloaded a few brushes from bittbox, and i have no idea how the hell to put ehm on sai. i dont even think im using a valid version. did you pay for photoshop?
