A thread about how abilities or type changes would be fine (as long as the two were kept distinct and simple, and the OP was given a fair amount of effort), but it doesn't belong in that kind of thread, which is for discussing Hydreigon's actual use and impact.

I mean to start a thread, not a post.

Does it violate anything for me to start a post about a discussion like that? I mean I know this is supposed to be about competitive battling, but I keep wondering what would happen if Hydreigon received a supportive ability like Salamence and Dragonite, and it seems like it could be a good discussion.

A fair point; I apologize for stating my opinion like that. However, I still do not think there is any merit at all to a discussion about whether or not Hydreigon is bannable without a Fighting-type weakness, and the post will remain deleted because of that.

Yes, it is not definitive, which is why I did not just say "would be banned" and instead said "I have a feeling". Valuable expansion for discussion is possible. In fact, I wanted someone to disagree so that I could have a chance to state my case. You are the one who is stating your opinion as a fact.

It doesn't contribute because it's baseless conjecture with no valuable expansion for discussion, and it is indeed wrong. If Hydreigon magically retained all of its properties besides the Fighting-type weakness it still wouldn't be banned.

How is it wrong or not contribute to the post? It does not make any specifications as to what can and cannot be commented on. And the part about tier change is not wrong at all.

Because it doesn't contribute to the discussion and is completely wrong.

You deleted my post because...?
