While that is good, wouldn't Slowking be able to KO Emboar after it takes one Wild Charge? If I recall Emboar has 110 / 65 / 65 defenses. Psyshock would do massive damage.

True, but once Kecleon is behind a sub, it's Disable will force a switch out because Focus Blast and Psyshock cannot be used for a few turns. I think of it as a slower, more bulky Haunter. :)

This Keckleon seems good, but won't Focus Blast followed by Psyshock break it? I want to testit when I'm not busy, however :)

Now, I know you might be thinking, "It's outclassed by Haunter." However, unlike Kecleon, Haunter cannot afford to take hits. It's just too frail. Kecleon, on the other hand, has excellent special bulk. In other words, this Kecleon set just might be THE perfect counter to Jynx, as disabling Jynx's Lovely Kiss will force tons switches and Color Change will give it an advantage over her. :)

Finally :P M next semester starts on this monday however :/

It is because it can outspeed stuff like Lilligant, Durant and Adamant Sceptile and kill them. But band is extremel powerful in RU too :)

That's kinda weird. In NU, Choice Scarf Emboar wasn't that good because it lacked power like Choice Band.

Actually Scarf is the best Emboar, but Band is amazing since it's unexpected :p

There is also Flme Charge Emboar, Kabutops and Moltres can handle it a bit but they're painful. Good they're rare ^^

Well, Durant is the only one I can think of but it's somewhat manageable like Special Sceptile. I haven't been able to get much testing done with the team. :p
