I'd prefer the coast due to climate (I'm used to a mild climate that doesn't get very cold or hot) and because they seem to be more socially liberal in general.

Why wouldn't you want to live in the United States, aside from the coastal regions? Weather, politics, or some third thing.

I know I wouldn't want to live in Canada, because as a Texan, snow scares me. My average Christmas is around 60 degrees.

My comment was related due to his comparison of war to video games. I was mildly curious as to if he applied the military culture to the video game industry or not.
