I think this power was a little poorly thought out. The other hooker was prevented from targetting the same person twice in 3 nights in order to prevent them stopping too many kills, but we seem to have overlooked that with Batman..

We had a lot of discussions about what would happen with items when people died. I dont think we resolved it prefectly, but I did like this role.

I think this item should have been you give it and that prevents them from acting that very night. I was a little dissapointed brain hoarded it so long. I had this vision of it being passed back and forth between people wreaking havoc among them, but it never eventuated.

Michael Corleone was GTS. The idea with the italian mafia was that there were two members who didnt need the italians to win (GP and COTH). So they couldnt necessarily be trusted. It was up to Avatar to how he would approach this situation. Apparently Av wasnt too concerned, and it paid off for him. Italy dominated so much there was no reason for anyone to betray them.

We couldnt get it to work out so we dropped that..

I think this role was kind of a bad idea.. It was one of the last added, and we were just short on ideas by that point. Honestly I dont think the game was too unbalanced, but it just ended up that way because of how it was played..

One of my favourites. The recruitable people were all the FCM except the Boss and the Boss's bodyguard. If he got enough people recruited, the boss died, then one of his recruitees would become his BG.

My absolute favourite role. See, he didnt actually have BG powers. The idea was that when he protected someone who died, he would go crazy, gain night kills and have to kill all the people he had protected up until that point. I am so dissapointed this didnt happen.

Well his ineptitude as a killer was impressive. He got blocked so often I figure the Italians must have thought he was being interfered with in some way, and would take the gun off him (which he got night 2). But no, he just picked out people who were protected. Managed to catch up by the end though, thankes to being able to kill twice as often as Porygon3.

She would be told the night powers of whoever she targetted. It was supposed to work in conjunction with the Consilgiere, but since GP couldnt be trusted, I had this faint hope that there wouldnt be any communication between them. It didnt work out like that..

The fake diamond was pretty fun, but I think it was only successful once. These things are actually hard to keep track of, so if you have items in future mafia games, be careful how you keep track of them.

In fact no hidden abilities ever eventuated. It was gay as hell.

You have decided to infiltrate the French Canadian Mafia in three groups of three. You yourself know only two other members of the FCBI in Montreal:

zerowing, Batman.
porygon3, Officer Jenny.

However, you cannot be sure if your agents will stay loyal to you, If you suspect that one of your agents has betrayed you, you can use your authority in the FCBI to get him court marshalled. The idea with telling you guys that you could maybe be brought back to life or something was just so that you wouldnt spill your guts to gaudetjaja in a bitter rampage because you were angry you lost.. So night 1 I was sending PMs to the people that died telling them not to be too downcast, but it was total lies. Anyway he died day 1 so that didnt last long.

Ineptitude? That implies incompetence. The best explanation for the blocked kills was dumb luck and unfortunate timing. For example, on Night 3 I had originally sent the PM to kill Brain, but Avatar then told me to get Obi so I sent another PM changing my target. Of course, Obi was protected. Then, on Night 4 I was originally going to shoot Amelia, but Avatar told me about West's role and convinced me to change targets. He had the BulletProof Vest. :( Then as you can see from Hip's log of PMs, I tried to kill porygon3, but Earthworm protected him. Finally, well, you saw what zerowing did as I tried to kill Earthworm...

Still, I was fortunate to get the Gun on Night 2 as Doomsday just happened to steal the Gun as I just happened to kill Gorm. I'm willing to bet dumb luck on both parts.

Anyway, it was both cookie and Avatar running the show after a while; a good game played by both of them.

Also, Hip, you say that I couldn't necessarily have been trusted, but really, had I not been willing to cooperate from the very start, I would have been in a tight spot, anyhow. You see, Avatar managed to find out about my killing Gorm on Night 1 and approached me with his knowledge of my role. He basically told me that he could bosskill me had I disobeyed and that if I killed him, Michael would have taken his place and bosskilled me.

I wanted to kill, obviously, but in order to do that I would have to stay alive! I couldn't win if I was killed so I basically had to follow his orders. Fortunately, I felt there was little reason to betray him so I was fully cooperative from the beginning.

By the way, the Gun could only kill on EVEN-numbered nights. When I received the Gun from Doomsday on Night 2, needless to say Avatar and I were shaking our heads. ><

Good game, everyone! I only hope the next one is anywhere near as good as this one!

Yup. I didn't want to bosskill you either - it was best for us to work together. But we could've had much better luck with our targets, eh? Hitting the BPV right after hitting a protected target was lolworthy.

I was adamant in wanting to trust you and GP. At the start, the others were a little iffy on it, but it was easy to know whether you'd betray us or not if you just told me your target every night and I communicated it to the others. They told me that if we were weak later in the game you could just betray us - but my answer was that our plan was to dominate, so if we were already half boned, then we'd probably end up losing anyway. My idea was to win, and for that we'd use all our resources available, as best as we could. If we didn't do that then we'd have been severely limited in our plans, fat chance we could've pulled it off. It only took a night or two until everyone decided they'd trust you.

From what Doomsday had said, yes; we thought the gun could kill every night, and we were salivating at the thought of using that combined with your night power, remember? But when you received it...haha.

cookie was indeed really good, he gathered so much information and made many alliances. I think we played well as a team overall; many of us italians kept planning what to do in the background and cookie did most of the talking. Dak contributed Mekkah's vote (in truly italian mafia-like fashion), and a lot of ideas, and in general he brought a more cautious element to a more aggressive playstyle cookie and I sometimes thought of. Doomsday was a great thief; he lucked out with the gun, and I figured that thunda had to have the diamond if he was the treasurer and FCM (for some reason he revealed this information to cookie early on), so I told Doomsday to steal it. Stealing the porn was iirc his own idea, so you know who to bitch at, Brain. Kira's night power was of great help and both Doomsday and him were always around on IRC for our discussions. I also talked to CoTH and GP quite a bit on AIM and brought their ideas to the table when we were discussing things. Venom mostly listened to us and followed our orders, and we found GTS really late game so he didn't have much of a chance to contribute to our plans - by then, that is, after BK's lynch, they were for the most part already laid out.

Controlling the village lynches by making cookie appear good, by having him vote against us in the BK lynch, was a good idea I had, but it wouldn't have been possible without all the alliances he'd gotten. On the other hand, cookie getting evan to join us by giving him the diamond was downright genius, and the main reason why we were able to lynch BK to begin with. After I proposed we could use cookie as our FCM mole/manipulator, we had a little discussion. Eventually we came to an agreement after running some numbers, and we told evan to get as many votes as he could from the FCBI. I started the roll on BK myself, revealing my alliegance didn't matter anymore; after that it was a matter of getting a couple of FCBI lynched/killed, through cookie and CoTH, respectively. Of course, till the very end, we had to make evan vote against us, else he'd have been bosskilled, and make sure we had enough votes to pull it off each night.

All in all I want to congratulate all the members of my team. Every single one of you contributed and did really well.

Haha this ended up pretty good for my side, shame I got killed n1 (curse you Jackal).

Actually, in a way I did find out I was hooker, but long after I'd died. See, I'd used my power n1 on West, just after trying to set him up for an attempted kill to try and pass myself off as a bg role. Obviously with Jackal offing me I never had the chance to follow through, but this explains why West couldn't kill n1.

This game was brilliant. Some trivia:

- I stole the Gun from Gormenghast in the first night without even knowing my own team; his first post in the thread had something like "the item system is BRILLIANT... and GENIUS", so I thought he must have a good item! So i targeted him. I had no other leads anyway. This was pure, dumb luck, but really helped in the long way.

- Our #fluodome chats were the best thing ever. It went something like this: thunda going "man wheres my diamond", Brain saying "fucking dipshit stole my porn" and cookie "let's vote this guy, remember guys follow the bandwagon". Most of the times I followed by either talking in our secret mafia channels or by pming cookie with something similar to "you're a fucking genius". This is man is truly a class act on how to speak bullshit.

- aamto is a failure.

- AvatarST is the best boss ever for uniting us all and planning stuff with cookie. I was really not sure whether to trust him the first time around he pmed me, I mean this is AvatarST. Anything could happen! But then we traded pm's and trusted each other. Also, everyone thought my winning condition had something to do with the diamond and I was being pressured by dak and cookie to tell them my 'real' win condition, but it really had nothing to do with the diamond.

What I don't understand West is why you told Shiney that the Detective was an FCBI role and tried to have him lynched even though you were FCBI yourself.

Anyway, hi5 my fellow Italians, StrangerDanger and evan, we rocked this game.

Doomsday stealing the gun night 1 got the game off to a great start, and even though a lot of our gun kills didn't happen, it was still crucial because it kept it out of enemy hands. Props to him for picking up on gorm's post.

Dak was awesome as our blackmailer of sorts, talking to StrangerDanger and Mekkah to get them onside. It was quite funny because Dak was all like 'we'll kill you so you better obey my every order!' and StrangerDanger was like 'oh please, don't try to sound intimidating, it doens't work'. As Avatar said he was a voice of caution in out secret channel discussions when we were off coming up with wacky ideas. I contended that he'd inherit killing powers every night, what exactly would he have gotten if coth died?

Our awesome but decidedly not-so-Vito-esque leader Avatar brought us all together real quickly, partly because we had to stop Kira from getting lynched, which was pretty funny. He PMed me that night:

I really enjoyed our nightly discussions. We both came out with all these crazy ideas and ran them past each other to see if they're maybe a little too reckless. Later on, evan was a good addition and what's more I didn't trust him fully until p3's kill went through, so at least there was some mafia-esque mistrust at some point. I told him we were protecting me when we were protecting coth, knowing that if he were to betray us he'd try to get the one we said was unprotected killed. It was a little paranoid but yeah. Avatar PM'ed me soon after the role PMs got sent out and I thought he was trying to get me to confess to being mafia, I don't know, because I've never dealt with him before. He got my trust though when we cp'de role PMs.

It was also really fun talking with Shiney, knowing that I'd have to keep lying and keep a consistent story. West almost had me lynched if it weren't for Karrot talking to me and me convincing him I was neutral. Karrot then convinced Shiney not to lynch me, and we lynched West instead. That was one of my favourite nights.

Later on Karrot started to get bored by the game because I kept him out of the loop so he decided to PM all the FCBI about me, COTH and Ghandi's supposed Italian-ness.

Venom, GP and Kira didn't have huge roles to play, but they all did their jobs and kept a low profile. Between GP's+my power, Kira's stalking ability and COTH's killing powers we hatched a plan to reveal the FCM inspector. Shiney sent me two PMs, one about something I forgot and another a few hours later regarding this inspector. So I checked all the players to see who was active at the time and made a list of who it could be. We then proceeded to stalk, inspect and kill each on that list until we found him.

BK was a great player, he really spiced things up the day he was getting lynched. He was talking to me, Dak, Doomsday and Avatar, and in the secret channel chat we realised he was telling each of us different things, made even funnier because through Shiney we knew who he really was anyway (doomsday/av/dak should post their logs with him). Props to him for infiltrating FCBI, that allowed us to find out that evan was kidnapping Shiney so that we could stop Brain from giving him the porn. It also let me talk to evan and cut him a deal with us Italians.

Fun fact: in total, FOUR of our kills got stopped in some way. Amelia protected Obi the night we tried to off him, it was the night after he PMed Shiney with 'Don't trust the inspector'. When our kill didn't go through I was scared I fell for a trap he laid to prove that the inspector had mafia connections. West had the BPV, Zerowing tied up COTH and Earthworm protected p3.

I was really disappointed when gaudetjaja died so early, that was one of the cooler roles in the game. Toothache dying was also pretty lame, it would've been nice to scheme with him too.

I might post some logs of the funnier stuff that happened during mafia later if anyone's interested.

I must admit i was simply protecting people for the sake of it... until i realized BK was boss, but then i died the very same night, so BK knew he was going to die at night as well i guess.

Screw cookie. He lied to Shiney and then to BK, who told cookie I was the inspector argh. I was gonna inspect cookie too cause I got suspicious but then I got killed.

Although I did inspect Jackal night 1, which was simply amazing once I figured he killed cookie. Then I inspected Shiney once he seemed to have a lead on things, gave him all my inspections then we got Jackal near lynch, attempted to save him, and get him lynched again. From there I believe I inpsected anyone who tried to lynch Jackal as I thought they'd be mafia.

The FCBI got fucked the moment user thebest(BK?) got on our forums. Once the Italian mafia knew who we were, gathering knowledge didn't really help...survival was the most important thing. But then, despite our best efforts to take the Italian mafia down with us, nothing worked. The FCM were just acting too bullheaded to see reason(see the Zerowing lynch, count the number of FCM votes), and FCBI members were dying left and right. It was pretty much game over as far as we were concerned, not much point in getting The Porn after that, or asking yes/no questions every night. Oh well, at least one FCBI member won...

I couldn't gauge who I could trust, and who I couldn't.

I was not happy that we swayed for Zero instead of CoTH, and I knew that the consistent attacking of FCBI instead of Italians would be the FCM's downfall, but I didn't know how to get it out without being targetted myself.

I did make an attempt to communicate with BK after his post, but I was never replied too in order to gain some friends.. I was alone in this game..

I was also unsure how I would also be able to use my role to my advantage, I thought I would eventually recieve info of what items went where but the post never came.

So we've heard from the FCM and the Italians, here is what went down for the FCBI!

Things started out great, I loved my power and was getting gmax to inspect people. Also, Sunday being added to our side really helped early game as we could use him risk free to contact people such as Obi and moot. StrangerDanger and I allied very early in the game as he wanted to be in line with a mafia group and once he realised GTS didn't know any of his own mafia types, he came to me. We formed an awesome team and night 1 we thought we hit the jackpot upon discovering Obi was the scavenger (this of course being when Gorm died with the Gun mysteriously missing...). Quickly we pounced, sending Sunday to open communications and me following up on it. As always, you can never trust Obi, but I felt my witness protection powers were an excellent carrot to keep in front of him as it would almost guarantee a victory as long as I survived.

We managed to unite with moot's group after his lynching revealing a bodyguard and a thief to the FCBI. We also discovered sklez's inability to be inspected though when aamto tried to steal from him the next night, the Tight Lips were gone.

Then West got lynched and I believe it was around this time that the forums went up. For all two of you who hadn't seen them, they were really quite good. Three separate subforums for plotting, night activities, and character discussion. Unfortunately (or fortunately...) I was the only one who made use of them. As we were discussing plans for night 5 (?) I noticed a mysterious user who definitely was not a confirmed, known FCBI member, the infamous “thebest.” As my teammates and everyone who saw the forum can attest to, I went nuts. No one would tell me who thebest was, just that Earthworm knew. I, of course, thought it was Dak who has a tendency to use nicknames similar to that. I got StrangerDanger to inspect him revealing his mafianess. Dak also sent SD a funny PM:

At which point I completely sabotaged my forums in anti-Dak sentiment. Of course, it was later revealed that Dak was not the man behind the FCBI's downfall, it was in fact BlueKirby. Cookie would send me a PM on the FCBI forums getting me to ally with him. We had a long discussion and it was agreed that I would turn on the FCBI in exchange for the diamond. And then we lynched BlueKirby.

But there are unanswered questions already. How did BlueKirby get onto my forums? He tricked Earthworm. Apparently he and Earthworm had a pact that they would tell each other about their roles. BlueKirby, of course, lied and told Earthworm he was a neutral role called The Mole. Why Earthworm thought inviting a neutral mole onto our forums was a good idea I will never know. This wouldn't have been so bad but Sunday approved BK's application, meaning the FCBI was completely broken and useless.

So back to the alliance with cookie. At first, it was tenuous at best. He started off by telling me to kill porygon3 because he was Officer Jenny, a suspected inspector. I had just realised that porygon3 was actually the person making all of the arrests for the FCBI and was planning on using him to backstab the Italians. My plan was to give StrangerDanger the diamond (just in case!!) and have Earthworm protect me while pory3 picked off the major Italians and zerowing hooked CardsoftheHeart. Eventually I backed off because I realised that was a lot of work for no gain except pride. I had an easy win locked up (especially since the rest of my team didn't know about pory3 at all) and used porygon3 to kill off the major French Canadians while the Italians took off a member of my team one by one, starting with Earthworm to take out all of their frustrations at blocked kills, then aamto to protect my diamond, then in the order bosskilling powers went. Finally, my good friend and ally porygon3 died which gave me night killing powers effectively ending the game.

I think this was it. I had a lot of fun working the Italians and my team before the incident. Hip and Shiv you guys did an awesome job hosting this mafia and also creatively. Major shout outs to StrangerDanger, cookie, Doomsday, AvatarST, BlueKirby, and Shiney (yes you). Also I think you got Avatar's role wrong, Hip. Not to nitpick but his actual role was:
