Welcome to Tin Tower, Mewtwo. Good luck for this match.

Anyways, I summon Stortamus & Choragon is Attack mode!

Right back atcha, Random!

C'mon out, Vladdy and Uberwocky!

Vlad:
Ubie ought to be able to take Choragon, so we'll worry about Stortamus for now. Lead with a Waterfall to Storty, then back up a bit and spout Boiling Water at it! Finish the round with an Avalanche to whoever attacks you, but if no one does, go for Storty.

Waterfall(Stort)~Scald(Stort)~Avalanche (whoever attacks, but Stort in nobody does)

~~~
Ubie:
Start off by firing a Dragon Pulse at Choragon. While it's distracted, do a little Dragon Dance for tasty, tasty power. Finish by charging it with a Double-Edge to knock it off the tower!
Alright, Choragon, start by Outraging at Uberwocky if possible. If you snap out after one turn, then Dragon Claw Uberwocky, then hop onto Stortamus' back. If you snap out after two turns, then just hop on Stortamus' back.
Meanwhile, Stortamus, start by Yawning on Vladdy, then prepare yourself with Curse, & finally, after Choragon hops on your back if it has snapped out, Earthquake. Otherwise, Rock Slide Uberwocky.
Summary of Actions.
Choragon: Outrage (Uberwocky) > Outrage/Dragon Claw (Uberwocky) > Outrage (Uberwocky)/Hop on Stortamus.
Stortamus: Yawn (Vladdy) > Curse > Earthquake/Rock Slide ((Uberwocky) If Gible is still Outraging)
Do your best not to damage the Bell Tower artifacts...
Round One Start!
Welcome to the top of Bell Tower, once a popular destination. However, with a precarious wood bridge at the very end and an overzealous monk at the bottom of the tower, not many people come to this tower anymore. Even though the golden spire at the top is entrancing, and one can catch a glimpse of a rainbow wing once in a blue moon, the main attraction to this site is the weird force that perpetually surrounds the top of the tower, pulling you up to the top of the spire when you fall off. However, not many people make it through the many floors of the tower.
Today, we have a battle between two budding trainers whose Pokemon will one day grow up to be big and strong (just drink your milk). On one side of the Bell Tower Top, we have Mewtwo with a Mudkip and a Bagon! On the other side of the tower, Random stands with a Hippopotas and a Gible. Oh, what's that? It seems that a sandstorm has been whipped up by the sand hippo!
Uberwocky starts the match off by spewing a spectacular burst of draconic energy from his mouth at the opposing Gible. The mystical force around the energy seems to deal extra damage to the Gible, who is knocked around five feet towards the edge of the tower. The outraged Gible responds by charging forward and slamming the Bagon with a powerful blow, dealing a large amount of damage. Vladdy sidesteps the dueling dragons and launches himself at Stortamus, backed by the power of water. He tackles the Hippopotas, who takes some damage and yawns sleepily at the Mudkip, who immediately becomes drowsy.
Backing away from the irate Gible, Uberwocky quickly stimulates his muscles with a mystical fighting dance, also known as the dance of the dragons. After successfully completing the difficult dance, his muscles loosen up and become strong, raising his attack and speed by one stage each. This dance has no effect on the foe Gible, who slams Uberwocky with another powerful blow. Vladdy turns away from the Stortamus, then quickly turns back and blasts the Hippopotas with a large jet of scalding water. The water is so hot for the Hippopotas that it sustains a burn on his sandy skin. Stortamus responds by channeling negative energy into himself, raising his attack and defense by one stage each while lowering his own speed by one stage.
Quite injured by the last two blows, Uberwocky resorts to using a sneaky move. He waits until the outraged Gible rushes towards him to strike, then sidesteps, turns around, and tackles Choragon from behind as hard as he possibly can. The attack deals some good damage and knocks the unbalanced Gible off of the tower top. As the helpless Choragon tries to cling on to the roof tiling, a bubble made out of pure energy surrounds him and lifts him up towards the sky. He lands at the very top of the spire, a small speck from the ground. Meanwhile, Vladdy continues his assault on the unmoving Stortamus. Summoning huge glacial pillars, he flings them towards the Hippopotas, dealing some small points of damage. Stortamus responds by summoning a large pile of boulders from the earth and causing them to fall on Uberwocky, who takes some more damage.
Ehh...Okay round...
Alright, Choragon, start off by staying on the Spire & Honing your Claws...Once...Then climb down the spire & Dragon Claw Uberwocky, preferrably from behind...or Vladdy if Uberwocky is already knocked out.
Meanwhile, Stortamus, While Gible is (Probably) safe on the top of the Spire, I want you to launch two quick Earthquakes in succession, then finish off by Slacking Off.
Summary of Actions:
Choragon: Hone Claws > Climb down Spire > Dragon Claw (Uberwocky)
Stortamus: Earthquake > Earthquake > Slack Off
What did Ubie ever do to you?! GRR.
VLADDY: Go over next to the pillar and Counter Storty's first Earthquake. You'll be safer there if you fall asleep. If you still have it in you, Avalanche after the second Earthquake, then fire a Scald / Boiling Water at Choragon.
Counter~wait, then Avalanche(Stort)~Scald(Chor)
---
UBIE:
Yikes, Random's pretty worried about you! Start with an Aerial Ace to knock Choragon off the spire. Then, jump down and see if you can land on Vladdy--not hard enough to hurt him, but enough to wake him up. Next, Double-Edge Choragon; you won't take damage due to Rock Head, and he may even fall off the tower.
If Choragon falls off, Dragon Pulse Stortamus. If he doesn't, Aerial Ace Choragon so he does.
Round Two Start!
As the weather gets progressively worse, the Pokemon on the tower top seem to be debilitating quickly. Burn is taking its toll on a Pokemon, and the sandstorm is wearing down two more. The one unaffected creature is knocked off the tower and must start the arduous journey down the spire. Sooner or later one will fall, and the scale will tip into the hands of a player.
Uberwocky starts off the round by zooming up the spire at a fast pace. Upon reaching the top, the Bagon strikes the target at an amazing speed. Contrary to jumping immediately back down, he hides behind Choragon. It happens so quickly that Choragon doesn't even have time to react. Convinced that the attack didn't really happen, Choragon stays up top on the spire, honing his claws sharp, raising his attack and accuracy by one stage. Meanwhile, down on the ground, Vladdy prepares a counterstrike as Stortamus summons a massive earthquake to hit the tower, which makes the tower sway dangerously. Up on the top of the spire, the quake shakes both Dragon-types off. Uberwocky takes no damage due to his rock head, but Choragon takes 10 points of damage. Vladdy quickly counters the attack, dealing a lot of damage to Stortamus. However, the drowsiness overcomes Vladdy as he falls asleep for two actions.
Quickly getting back up, Uberwocky rushes forward and slams the prone Choragon with a viciously hard strike. The Bagon kind of punts the Gible, sending him sliding across the top. He falls off the top of the tower, getting pushes back up to the top of the spire. However, Choragon seems to have been expecting this as he quickly climbs back down. The Gible climbs down just to get thrown unceremoniously to the ground by another one of Stortamus's Earthquake; it deals a large amount of damage to everybody on the tower. Vladdy takes damage, but remains sleeping peacefully.
Uberwocky looks around one full circle, trying to find the source of the earthquake. The epicenter seems to be right below Stortamus, so he fires off a large pulse of draconic energy at Stortamus, dealing hefty damage. Choragon retaliates, slashing at Uberwocky with his new sharpened claws; the draconic energy channeled into the slash seems to deal extra damage. As Vladdy slumbers on, Stortamus takes a short break, restoring 20 HP.
Vladdy wakes up shortly after.
VLADDY:
Hopefully you'll notice the bright light and wake up. Lead with an Avalanche, then a Scald, then another Avalanche--all to Choragon. However, if anybody attacks you then, you may replace Scald with a Counter or Mirror Coat to whomever is attacking you.
Who got the KO Counter there?
Okay, Choragon, because Sunny Day Sucks, Immediately replace the sun with Sandstorm again with you guessed it, Sandstorm, reactivating Sand Veil & hopefully dodging the Avalanche with a little bit of Hax (Luckily Choragon's slower than Balsamus). Then climb up the spire, again dodging the Scald, then finish off by launching a Sand Attack at the top of the tower at Vladdy, hopefully not giving away where you are.
In the meantime, Stortamus shall Yawn both Vladdy & Balsamus, in that order, & finish off by continuing your Earthquake rampage (Choragon will hopefully be safe at the top of the spire).
Summary of Actions:
Choragon: Sandstorm > Climb up Spire > Sand Attack (Vladdy)
Stortamus: Yawn (Vladdy) > Yawn (Balsamus) > Earthquake
Good thing we're up 4-3, but odds are Mewtwo will equalise before long...
Round Three Start!
Up at the Bell Tower Top, the four combatants eagerly await their trainer's orders. As soon as they are issued, the Pokemon jump into action, starting the round. Far away from the Bell Tower, near the sunshine, is a rainbow bird, majestically soaring around the mountains. The bird looks back at its typical resting place, swirling with sand; it turns away and flies farther out. One day it should come back...
The bird is not the only Pokemon that disapproves of sand. As Uberwocky is recalled into his Pokeball, an Embirch quickly replaces him, jumping lightly, her tail swaying like a perpetually excited dog. The sandstorm immediately starts buffeting her, but she ignores this, sending a bright beam into the fluffy clouds above her. They quickly part, revealing the Sun, its sunlight quickly starting to beat down on the top of the tower. Choragon immediately retaliates by kicking up more clumps of sand, creating another sandstorm, masking the sun. Sigh~ Why is there always sand? While Choragon continues to kick up sand, Vladdy creeps over to him, creating glacial pillars that hit him for spectacular damage. Needless to say, the kicking stops, but there is enough sand for the sandstorm to continue. Stortamus takes the opportunity to yawn extremely loudly, making Vladdy drowsy. It seems that Vladdy really didn't get enough sleep in the last couple of days.
Continuing her role of team supporting, Balsamus summons golden walls from the ground to be erected around her team. The walls shimmer with a mysterious defensive force; it seems that some of the incoming attacks' power will be reduced...? Choragon doesn't seem to like the golden walls, scrambling up the narrow tower spire as fast as his stubby legs can allow him. Vladdy, though sleepy, sees this action, squirting scalding hot water all over him and the tower spire. Choragon takes the hit well, climbs a few more steps upwards, and falls back to the ground, unconscious. Seemingly adding insult to injury, the boiling water accumulates on Choragon's skin, burning him. Stortamus doesn't seem to upset about his partner dying; he continues to relax on the tower, bathing in the sand, yawning at Balsamus, who immediately becomes drowsy as well. Mewtwo15026, have you been depriving your Pokemon of sleep?
Now realizing that any attempt to change the weather is futile, Balsamus takes the initiative, firing a red beam of light towards Stortamus. The beam engulfs the sand hippo, draining some of the damage dealt. Balsamus looks a lot healthier now :p Vladdy follows Balsamus, attacking Stortamus with more glacial pillars. It hits him, but it seems to deal a lot less damage than one would expect. Hmf. Stortamus retaliates by creating another earthquake beneath the tower's foundation, damaging both opponents and rocking the entire tower top as well as the rest of Ecruteak City. It seems that the tower might fall soon; what is the final straw going to be?
It's okay, as long as it's done.
Ouch, that hurt, Sleast, you're up next!
Sleast, begin by hurling a Sludge at Balsamus, follow it up by hurling a Mud Bomb at Vladdy, & finish off by firing a Water Pulse at Balsamus.
In the meantime, Stortamus shall start by Slacking Off, then just Chill, & conclude by delivering a Rock Slide at both.
Summary of actions:
Sleast: Sludge (Balsamus) > Mud Bomb (Vladdy) > Water Pulse (Balsamus)
Stortamus: Slack Off > Chill > Rock Slide (Vladdy & Balsamus)
It's inevitable that the Sun will shine again, let's try & stall it.
EDIT: Almost forgot, but I'm extending the ref's DQ time by one day to four days as of now.
BALSAMUS: Oh, dear, a Water-type. Lead with a Leech Seed to Sleast to help wear it down and keep you healthy. Follow up with a Sunny Day to end this sand and remove the threat of water drowning your fire, then blast Storty with a Solarbeam!
Leech Seed Sleast~Sunny Day~Solarbeam Stortamus
VLADDY: Good job on Choragon! We still have a battle to win, though. ;)
Lead by Scalding Stortamus. Next, wait until you take the Mud Bomb before using Foresight to clear your vision! Finish the round by sending Stortamus a nice Avalanche!
By the way, where does Sleast's name come from?
Round Four Start!
As the battle continues on the top of the Bell Tower (now with shaky foundations!), it becomes clear that certain Pokemon are fresh and energetic, while others seem like they are about to keel over and die. Which ones will be which, and which trainer will prevail?
Balsamus starts the round by shooting some leech seeds at Sleast. These seeds immediately latch on, glowing with an eerie red light. They seem to be draining the vitality of the sea slug and restoring it to Balsamus; how strange! Vladdy opts to ignore the new challenger and turns towards Stortamus, shooting a jet of boiling hot water towards the sandy hippo. Stortamus can't take any more hits, and slumps to the ground by the spire, unconscious. However, Stortamus' last memento takes its toll on Vladdy as he finally succumbs to his drowsiness and falls into an intense sleep. Sleast fires a ball of sludge at Balsamus, dealing some minor damage.
Balsamus gathers up some of his energy reserves and shoots a beam into the sky as the seeds heal him for some health. The clouds part surprisingly quickly, revealing a bright Sun that beats down relentlessly on the tower. As soon as the Sun comes into view, the spire starts making a strange gong sound, ringing through the mountains. Far away, a rainbow bird stirs and starts its flight back. As Vladdy continues to slumber on, Sleast fires mud balls from his mouth at Vladdy, also dealing some minor damage. Balsamus also succumbs to the drowsiness, falling into a deep sleep.
While both Vladdy and Balsamus continue to sleep, Sleast fires a pulse of water at Balsamus, dealing some damage and confusing her.
(The inevitable Capers Summon)
Looks like your the target Capers, luckily Sleast has Storm Drain...
Anyways, Sleast, Start out with Rain Dance, just to annoy Balsamus, then inflict Toxic Poison on Balsamus, & finish up by firing a Mud Bomb on Vladdy, which should hit a lot harder than normal thanks to Storm Drain.
Capers, in the meantime, Hide behind Sleast, using him as a Bodyguard while you fire off a Swords Dance, then deliver a powerful Acrobatics at Balsamus so it doesn't use Reflect, & finish up by throwing a Rock Slide at both.
Summary of Actions:
Sleast: Rain Dance > Toxic (Balsamus) > Mud Bomb (Vladdy)
Capers: Swords Dance (Behind Sleast) > Acrobatics (Balsamus) > Rock Slide
I sense some overconfidence on Mewtwo's part, let's bring him back to earth.
Round Five Start!
As the durable sand hippopotamus is finally knocked unconscious, the trainer simply presses a button on his Pokeball, recalling Stortamus into it with a flash of red light. He picks out the remaining Pokeball in his belt and sends out the Pokemon contained within it: Capers the Gligar. The FlyScorpion is exactly what the name suggests, a flying scorpion. It glides easily over the ground, peering at his opponents with disdain. It seems that this scorpion is pretty uptight!
Capers doesn't really know his opponents too well, assuming that their slumber is a hoax. Not wanting to be caught in a trap, he lands behind the tiny sea slug and starts dancing. Way to be inconspicuous. It seems to work, however, raising his attack by two stages. While the two opponents actually continue to sleep, the sea slug performs a dance of his own, making the nimbus clouds come back and cover the Sun. As if on cue, a healthy shower of rain starts pouring down from the sky just as Sleast finishes his dance. One day, these Pokemon will all become famous dancers.
Irritated that his opponents don't even seem to be interested in fighting him, Capers decides that it's time to show off to his sleeping combatants. In a fabulous show of acrobatics that would dwarf any professional circus performer's, Capers lands a series of blows on top of Balsamus, dealing heavy damage. Stirring from her sleep, Balsamus looks up to find that the golden box that she has counted on has disappeared. Quickly remedying that by summoning the golden box again, she looks at her partner, Vladdy, who is also just waking up. Vladdy summons a large swath of rocks rather quickly for one that has just woken up, hurling them at Capers and Sleast. The rocks hit for minor damage. Sleast, frolicking happily in the pouring rain, quickly identifies the biggest threat, Balsamus, and shoots a large amount of toxins all over her, badly poisoning the poor Embirch.
Capers isn't impressed at all with his opponents. They've slept, set up some strange box, and thrown some puny rocks at him. Bor-ing. He decides to summon some rocks of his own and throw them at his competitors. Everything seems perfect; the angle, the power, and the size of the rocks form a deadly combination. However, as soon as it passes through the strange golden box, it seems that the rock has halved in size ._____. So much for a useless box. Miffed, Capers can only watch as Balsamus attempts to absorb sunlight in the rainy weather. What he doesn't notice is Vladdy creeping up and shooting a jet of boiling hot water at him. It hits for a large amount of damage, but luckily the burn has been evaded. Sleast shoots some more mud balls at Vladdy, dealing some more trivial damage. Balsamus gives up on absorbing more sunlight, opting instead to shoot what little solar power she's absorbed at Capers, hitting for some small damage.
The seeds wither and fall off of Sleast.
I thought Sleast's Storm Drain would've absorbed the Scald... :(
Alright, time to synergise. Sleast, I want you to jump on Capers, & let's begin an aerial assault. Then as Capers flies around the arena, I want you to fire off Mud Bombs at Vladdy, jumping whenever Capers uses Earthquake, & subbing your move for Rain Dance if Balsamus decides he wants the sun back out. Hold on tight!
Meanwhile, Capers will use Agility as Sleast hops on & just zip around the place, hitting Balsamus from behind with Acrobatics & then Earthquake the tower. Don't worry about Vladdy's Scalds, as Sleast (Should) absorb the Scalds himself.
Summary of actions:
Sleast: Hop on Capers (And Rain Dance if necessary) > Mud Bomb (Vladdy) > Jump & Mud Bomb (Vladdy)
Capers: Agility > Acrobatics (Balsamus) > Earthquake (Both opponents)
Sub one of Sleast's moves (Or add in the case of the first action) for Rain Dance if Balsamus uses Sunny Day.
I'm not happy with how last round went, Scald shouldn't have hit Capers at all & hit Sleast instead (Storm Drain). Anyways, let's move on & try to finish off these two plucky Pokemon. It's really risky, but if it pays off, then we should have a massive advantage.
VLADDY:
Well, you're on your way out, but you can still cause a little chaos. First, Scald Capers; since Sleast is on its back, the attack should still hit Capers in the front! Make your way behind Balsamus and Scald Capers again, then Counter the Earthquake!
BALSAMUS:
Not-a bad. The rain is a pain in the neck, but we don't really NEED the sun.
Start by getting in front of Vladdy and sending a Giga Drain to Sleast; you'll need all the health you can get for this maneuver. Next, Counter the Acrobatics FOR MASSIVE MEMETIC DAMAGE! Finish with another Giga Drain to Sleast.
Make sure you stay between Sleast and Vladdy at all times. You're gonna be the one taking the Mud Bombs.
I wasn't sure how realistic it was to have a Pokemon absorb a jet of water while water was pouring down. To me, there were two solutions: a) what I did, or b) have all the rain be redirected to Sleast. The second one seemed a bit too extreme for me, so I chose a). In hindsight, I really should've had the Boiling Water redirected, but I chose realism instead of Pokemonism. Sorry.
Round Six Start!
This is one crazy day for the top of the Bell Tower. First Sandstorm was summoned, followed by a mixture of Sun and Rain. It seems that Rain is going to be the dominant weather from now on, with the two Water type Pokemon in play. Unfortunately, it seems that the fabled rainbow bird isn't going to make an appearance this battle :(
Capers, normally the speediest one of the lot, decides to follow his trainer's commands, allowing the slimy Sleast to climb onto his cape thing on his back. Immediately after Sleast manages to climb on, Capers launches into an Agility, allowing him to move much faster than before. Balsamus hopes a short distance to land by Vladdy, firing a red beam of light at the flying sea slug. The beam deals significant damage to Sleast and restores some health to Balsamus. Vladdy opts to aim a little lower with his jet of hot water, attempting to splatter it onto Capers. Some of the boiling water connects with the Gligar, but most of it is siphoned off into Sleast's system, raising his Special Attack by one stage.
Vladdy and Balsamus stand together, eying the flying duo of Pokemon warily. Capers circles around in the air, gleefully enjoying the new power in his wings. Suddenly, he swoops down in an impressive show of acrobatics, landing on Balsamus and dealing a ridiculous amount of damage. Unfortunately for Capers, Balsamus had been steeling himself for the attack and counters the blow as soon as she gets up. The countered hit deals huuuge damage, but Balsamus does not have the energy to finish the attack, and faints on the spot due to fatigue. Sleast takes no notice of this, shooting more hard-packed mud balls towards Vladdy the Mudkip, dealing significant damage and leaving him hanging on by a thread.
Capers puts Vladdy out of his misery by summoning an Earthquake right underneath Ecruteak City, causing the Mudkip as well as many citizens to fall unconscious.
The tower shudders, its foundations having been progressively weakened throughout the match. Slowly, it begins to tip over, the spire becoming more and more horizontal. The tall, golden spire that once stood proud suddenly comes careening down on the flying Pokemon, knocking them all the way down the tower and onto the tower rubble, dealing 5 damage to each Pokemon. The mystical force that once kept them on the top of the tower now keeps them within a 20-foot diameter circle.
