Data CAP ASB Census

[Terrador]

That's right, a census of all Pokemon in ASB existence. Post your thoughts if you like. This might even allow for a "UU" codification, where the top ~20 mons would be banned. Eh, let's roll. Also, persons who have been in ASB for a week or more and have not battled will not be counted in the census. Some noobs slip in, but it really isn’t affecting the overall trends. This is somewhat rough, as occasionally something (usually a Slowpoke or Eevee) will evolve into something I predicted it wouldn’t, and bad upkeep of registration will probably mean that I missed a couple of mons, but this should provide decent stats on line usage and show general trends of what’s used most often.

It looks like my team is a mix of popular and unpopular lines. One the one hand, Honchkrow, Zweilous, Scratchet, Privatyke, Gliscor. On the other hand, I'm the only Medicham owner, only Smoochum owner, one of two Emolga owners, one of two Skarmory owners, one of three Jellicent line owners (and I believe the only one with an actual Jellicent) and one of three Raticate line owners.

Hmm. In general, it seems I have a mostly unpopular team, with only Syclant, Krillowatt, Camerupt, Cranidos, Scratchet, and Monohm exceeding three users. Additionally, I have the only Blitzle and Abomasnow in CAPASB, and share Burmy, Dunsparce, Combee, and Walrein with a single other person. (woot!)

Okay, who's the other user with a Stunfisk? LOL. My team seems to be mostly semi-popular mons with the occasional uncommon mon and Cyclohm.

This is a decent indicator of what's popular in ASB, but I am against a UU tier, simply because pretty much the whole cast is somewhat viable in ASB. It's just that a lot of people don't think outside the box. Admittedly, including me ._. Though I am the owner of one of the only 5 Revenankhs in all of ASB :D
