• Choice Scarf lets Latias run a more offensive set this year and takes Latios by surprise.
• Its offensive movepool gives it the ability to dish hits and be quite versatile.
• Unfortunately, Choice Scarf can make Latias Pursuit-bait.
• This set gives it coverage on many top-tier common threats in the GBU metagame
• Draco Meteor can be used instead of Dragon Pulse for a harder hit, but because of the SpA drop it is less consistent. Thunderbolt can be used instead of HP Fire depending on what you find to be a more prominent threat.

• This bulkier set works entirely different from the singles set, putting Latias in a support role rather than an offensive role.
• Heal Pulse and Helping Hand give Latias the ability to aid its partner, Heal Pulse to regain HP, and Helping Hand to give an offensive boost.
• Recover gives Latias more longevity, whereas Protect can allow it to scout moves or stay safe from hits while scouting moves.
• Dragon Pulse gives Latias a STAB attack, and also makes it so that it isn't fully Taunt-bait. Icy Wind deals damage and lowers the opposition's speed, giving it another way to support its team.

In doubles, I've seen Icy Wind used (against me), to great success. Since Icy Wind deals damage and keeps it from being Taunt-bait, and lets Latias support its team even more by lowering the opposition's Speed. (unless it's a Trick Room team lol)

Latias is also a very good user of screens, owing to its speed and defenses.

i generally prefer cresselia for screens but latias could work as well so its all based on what else you need support for.
