OK, so it's been a little while, and it's update time. The dark horse pokemon I chose was Suicune; and so far, I'm going relatively well. I'm still climbing the ladder at a steady rate, but I feel like I need a little bit more something if I want to actually break the top 100 (currently I'm at 502nd, so I have quite a ways to go yet).
Anyway, this is the team that I've been using so far, and I'd really appreciate some advice.

Both sets have been working out fairly well; when I use Offensive Suicune, I tend to use Thunder Wave on Celebi, and when I use Crocune, I sometimes opt for Heal Bell, in case I need to switch out while Suicune's resting. Any more advice on which set is better/ how I can support it would be really helpful :)
On to the team in general, once I decided that I was going to use Suicune, I started looking at the threats I had to cover. The first that immediately popped to mind was Rotom-W, which I knew I had to be able to thoroughly counter. So, who better than Celebi? The Tinkerbell set can simultaneously support my team with T-Wave (or Heal Bell) while being a diabolical offensive threat with 240 Sp. Atk EVs/ Modest - Life Orb Leaf Storm.
Then I thought, well, I have a water and a grass type - why not throw in a fire type for some basic, but good defensive synergy? That's where Heatran came in, as it partners fantastically with Celebi, can set up SR, take fire attacks aimed at Celebi, and then proceed to terrorise with it's powerful Life Orb'd Fire Blast.
This is where things get dicey. I ended up throwing together the SkarmBliss combo for several reasons: firstly, with so many Life Orbs on my team (3, if using Offensive Cune), wish support is really be appreciated. Secondly, Suicune doesn't hit so hard, and would probably appreciate some more hazards on the field to nab KO's (and I've found that there tends to be a lot of switching with this team, so Spikes + SR is useful anyway). Thirdly, I suck at really offensive playstyles, and I need a defensive core that won't compound weaknesses with Celebi/ Tran/ Cune (read: Celebi/ Heatran are offensive, and can't take too much of a beating). So, Skarmory and Blissey seem to fit nicely as members 4 and 5 of my team.
Lastly, while Landorus may seem a bit of an after-thought, it's actually quite important. My entire team is actually quite slow, and I need something with a bit of pace, that can revenge stuff while still keeping momentum up.
Eh, I don't know. This has become a bit tl;dr, and it was only supposed to be a quick update @_@
Anywho, comments would be greatly, greatly appreciated. I'm determined to see Suicune break into the Hall of Fame ;)
