So...
I pm'd Amarillo last Monday on irc saying I wanted to play and he told me he wanted to play Wednesday. Wednesday I waited for him on irc but he never pm'd me or anything, then I pm'd him after I saw my football match and no replies. Thursday I VM'd asking when he was going to be available to play and he told me Friday, he never logged on irc this friday.
So yeah, activity post.

are you kidding me phil, floppy was playing for 4 fucking hours over something that could have been resolved in 45 minutes if conflict just took the rematch
I agree, if I were Conflict, I would've taken the rematch. But he has the right as the player to make his own call. Ending a match where you both played hard for over 700 turns the way you did is p. lame.

It's not lame when your opponent was being non-compliant to the most reasonable of solutions. When the battle reached a point where it was obvious that it would draw out for another couple hundred turns or so, I courteously (and periodically) offered him rematches. How'd he respond? To paraphrase: "why would i agree to that 'if i have the advantage'; sorry we cant agree on this but me acceptign your offer(s) would be ridiculous."
So yeah, let's not be so quick to call people lame here please. You have access to the log. Read it all for yourself.

I can truthfully say the same here. And let''s not assume you were going to continue to play the perfect game after 5hrs of playing, because the odds of that happening are very low. Same for me. And in that vein, there was always a chance that one of us would mess up and the other capitalizing on said mistake, so the "if" and "but" scenarios here are kind of moot. Sorry for your d/c, but I'd be a moron to not take the win (sounds slightly familiar?)

Neither player had a reasonable win condition, essentially requiring multiple crits in a row or flinches, or one side going completely full retard, we don't award wins based on ridiculous circumstances of luck and we don't award wins on timeout unless one side is obviously stalling, so I'm calling this a draw. If it had gone to its conclusion, 999/1000 times it ends a draw due to the ability to infinitely switch.
If anyone wants to contest this, I welcome you to recreate the battle and prove me wrong.
