Looks very good, although I see a couple things to note. You describe the physically defensive spread as being "almost guaranteed to survive a Gem CC from Top". I've had Gigas take a couple of those in the international tourney and take around 70%, although I can't say if the Tops were max Attack (although that's standard). I run 252/216/42, which allowed Gigas to take two Rain-boosted Surfs from a variety of Pokemon and Twave the Swift Swimmer, as well as allowing him to take CCs brilliantly (Arcanine's typically 3HKOs).

Knock Off is a nice option to nullify a troublesome Scarf user or take away Lefties, I use it over Icy Wind but that has plenty of merit too.

The only way I can get the calculator to say that Top's CC will do about 70% is if you didn't run a boosting nature for defense for your 252/216/42 spread, and that the Hitmontop didn't run a gem.

I should probably mention that you can always go for a mix between defense and special defense depending on what suits your team.

I believe I have said for a different Pokemon that you're better off doing other things rather than Knock Off, but since Regigigas is largely for support, I think I can mention it into OO.

I felt that Special defense was better to help take on Gem boosted Draco Meteors or Rain boosted Hydro Pumps, as physical attacks can be hampered by Intimidate.
