Hello everyone! I hope you enjoy the RMT that I've brought to you today. Its main focus is around the Japanese Christmas Victini, so keep that in mind as you read further. I've only made a tiny change in its standard moveset w/ FusionBolt. I substituted it for BoltStrike, as it provides both more power and a chance of paralysis; pretty nice if I do say so myself. Victini is, in my honest opinion, highly underestimated as a Legendary Pokemon. The fiery rodent has always interested me since its days in OU and on to its now present UU position. It does, however have its faults, such as a weakness to common attacks, like Ground, Dark, Ghost and Water attacks. Rain does not cripple its set, aside from lessening the power provided by V-Create, which can easily be played around in battle. Because of the name, I figured I'd throw some quotes from the movie in that I think suit the Pokemon for fun. “Since mankind's dawn, a handful of oppressors have accepted the responsibility over our lives that we should have accepted for ourselves. By doing so, they took our power. By doing nothing, we gave it away. We've seen where their way leads, through camps and wars, towards the slaughterhouse.” - Alan Moore, V for Vendetta. Without further due, here's the team. Enjoy! ^-^

V-Create, BoltStrike, U-turn & Trick
As obviously stated, I started w/ Victini. Why? I love it! The recent Japanese event gave it a few new weapons to add to its arsonal of attacks with V Create, BoltStrike, Glaciate & BlueFlare. Victini is overall a scout for the team. Although its event moves are great, I chose to run a physical scout set, ofcourse. Able to hit very hard w/ V-Create, it is commonly the team's lead. BoltStrike's purpose was fully esplained in the above summary, so there's no reason to cover it, again. Not mentioned, however, is its ability to check some rain teams not prepared for it. I gave Victini Trick as filler, to cripple most walls from doing their job effectively against my team. Scarf was ultimately the best choice when couled w/ Trick. With it, after a V-Create's recoil stat drop, Victini still reaches enough speed to speed tie non-Scarfed Jirachi for a possible KO. Given support, Victini potentially tears through any unsuspecting team.
“Everybody is special. Everybody. Everybody is a hero, a lover, a fool, a villain. Everybody. Everybody has their story to tell.” - Alan Moore, V for Vendetta
Keldeo@Leftovers; Justified
Timid: 252 SP.Attack/ 252 Speed/ 4 Defense
Surf, SecretSword, HiddenPower(Ice) & CalmMind
Keldeo was the first spot choice when I was looking in to a partner for Victini. Having great synergy and decent typing, Keldeo is the ideal counter to most of Victini's checks and counters. I chose to run HP(Ice) Keldeo to hit Dragons that maybe switch in. All except Salamence...that's when I switch to Bronzong for walling. Surf is its main STAB for power and accuracy. Keldeo also helps defend against Rain teams that counter Victini, resisting Water attacks like opposing Surf & IceBeam(s). I'm also avoiding the SubCM set, as the loss in Hp eventually kept adding up. SecretSword 2HKO's checks Chansey and Blissey, while also hitting other Sp.Defensive Pokemon for hard damage.
“Happiness is the most insidious prison of all.” - Alan Moore, V for Vendetta
Tyranitar@ChoiceBand; SandStream
Careful: 252 Hp/36 Attack/220 Sp.Defense
StoneEdge, Crunch, Pursuit & SuperPower
The godsend for handling threats like Latios and Latias. Suggested by LucaroarkZ, it serves as a great special wall to take hits from Latios like a Specs DracoMeteor & inneffective Psyshock prediction; which then end with it being revenged by a STAB Pursuit or Crunch. StoneEdge has great neutral damage, while also tearing away at dragons like Salamence, Gyarados & Dragonite. Tyranitar is mainly here for those reasons and to combat weather that could prove to be very troublesome. SuperPower takes care of Ferrothorn, Heatran and Forretress switch ins expecting to set up on T-tar.
“You wear a mask for so long, you forget who you were beneath it.” - Alan Moore, V for Vendetta
Tentacruel@BlackSludge; RainDish
Bold: 252 Hp/ 236 Defense/ 20 Speed
Scald, RapidSpin, Toxic & Protect
Tentacruel was suggested by Genj4lf over Rotom-W and, after some testing, has done very well on the team. ToxicStalling with this set is easy to play, as even a +4 QD Volcarona can't take it down while stalling. Tentacruel is the team's spinner, and has great synergy w/ Tentacruel and Bronzong. Tentacruel also provides another check to Rain teams, as it can take advantage of RainDish better in battle once it has been set. Tentacruel is also the ideal switch-in to Politoed threats, then poisoning the foe's Pokemon w/ Toxic. Protect was added to ensure its longevity in battle stays in tact when facing a wide threat to the team.
“Your pretty empire took so long to build, now, with a snap of history's fingers, down it goes.” - Alan Moore, V for Vendetta
Bronzong@Leftovers; Levitate
Sassy: 252 Hp/252 Sp.Defense/4 Defense
GyroBall, HP(Ice), EarthQuake & StealthRock
Bronzong replaced Forretress on the team as the wall. Bronzong's job is to set up SR and then tear down the opposing team w/ GyroBall, HP(Ice) & EarthQuake. HP(Ice) is for Dragons and Gliscor, none of which enjoy taking the attack. EarthQuake handles opposing Steel type Pokemon for a great deal of damage. GyroBall not only grants Bronzong w/ STAB, but also does massive damage to fast foes with 0 IVs in Speed. With a meta centered mostly around speed and power, it becomes an important asset. Bronzong was also a suggestion by Genj4lf, and has been very useful since then.
“There's no flesh or blood within this cloak to kill. There's only an idea. Ideas are bulletproof.” - Alan Moore, V for Vendetta
Garchomp@ChoiceScarf; RoughSkin
Jolly: 252 Attack/ 252 Speed/ 4 Hp
Outrage, EarthQuake, StoneEdge & FireFang
Garchomp...what to say?! Welcome back to OU, brother. Garchomp is yet another suggestion from LucaroarkZ and has been tested previously on the team prior to being added. Garchomp is an amazing sweeper, as it always had been back in its previous OU days. With an Outrage that outpaces all 101 Speed Scarfed Pokemon, Garchomp is the teams secondary sweeper for when things get nasty on the field. Garchomp can revenge Pokemon like Landorus, Gengar, nonScarfed Garchomp, +1 DD Haxorus, Salamence and Dragonite(After SR or Sand have been set). With STAB EQ, Garchomp can secure a OHKO on all special defensive Jirachi, including those that run Scarf, Magnezone, Infernape, Metagross, Jolteon & Ninetales. FireFang is for those pesky Steel types like Scizor, Ferrothorn & Forretress. StoneEdge serves the same purpose on Garchomp as T-tar's, although it is mainly used as filler.
“The ending is nearer than you think, and it is already written. All that we have left to choose is the correct moment to begin.” - Alan Moore, V for Vendetta
There you have it! I hope you enjoyed reading my RMT. I should give credit where it's due to Ace86 for having given me the Victini. To all those who make a suggestion, I have a couple restrictions, to provide a reason why I should or shouldn't replace a certain member, as most people like to suggest random Pokemon that'd only bring down the team's stability. At any pace, thanks for reading and, again, I hope you enjoyed my RMT. :)
