Pet Mod SylveMons (Discussion Phase)

Those are unintended interactions, I mean Gamefreak hasn't allowed to use two abilities at same time so those are just conjectures.

Well anyways, I guess we could start another submission phase .3.
Trust me on this one, if an ability says 'when lowered by an opponent', it activates when its lowered by an opponent :P

but yes sub phase pls

Now I'm confused, Tricky Seed Defiant/Competitive is yay or nain?

I hate Gamefreak since X/Y, this incredibly condescending ingame...

Sure. Subs are open.

New thing, you can submit 3 pokemon per slate to have a small type change for flavour/competitiveness
(Pretty sure this'll be fine with rev)
Just to be clear, the only thing we can change are typing? We can't add existing attacks, change stats or something like that, right?

Is there a list that shows what’s already been done so I don’t have to worry about accidentally duplicating something someone else already did?

Removable via Knock Off?: Y

Removable via Knock Off?: Y
Ignored by Klutz?: Y

Fling Info: 10 BP.

Niche: Allows you to more easily set up when switching in and rewards tactical switching.

Pokemon: Mega-Blastoise

New Typing: Water/Steel

Justification: Huge steel cannons

Niche: Gains more weaknesses, but also more resists. It also gains STAB on Flash Cannon to punish fairies. The offensive improvement of dual STABs helps it in a meta with lots of Trick Room.

Pokemon: Accelgor

New Typing: Bug/Dark

Justification: It's a ninja.

Niche: It gains STAB on important moves and is now immune to Prankster, which helps for its high speed tier. It's a unique typing too.

Pokemon: Tsareena

New Typing: Grass/Fighting

Justification: It's humanoid and kicks.

Niche: A better Dark and Steel check and it loses its Bug weakness.

Is there a list that shows what’s already been done so I don’t have to worry about accidentally duplicating something someone else already did?
A list of previous ideas would also be helpful.

Moves

Name: Fell Stinger
Existing Move?: Y
Category: Physical
Type: Bug
PP: 25
Effect: 50 BP. Increases +3 Attack stat if it KO a Pokemon
Priority: +1
Misc.:
Z-Move:
100 Savage Spin-Out
Niche: Fell Stinger is a good idea in concept, but in practice there is no reason to use it, giving it priority lets a Pokemon act as a revenge killer and a potential sweeper.
Potential Pokemon With This Move: All actual Fell Stinger users, Armaldo

Name: Froth Spiral
Existing Move?: N
Category: Special

Niche: Froth Spiral can act as a healing move and a way to force switches in the same moveslot
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Tapu Fini, Sea related Pokemon

Name: Thunder Mine
Existing Move?: N
Category: Other

Z-Move:
+1 Speed
Niche: Hail is a weather would REALLY appreciate a buff, increasing the power of Ice moves and granting them a inmunity to a common offensive typing and letting them to avoid one of their major weakness is useful. Potential Pokemon With This Move: All actual users

Abilities

Existing Ability?: Y
Effect: Drops foes' accuracy by one level by switching in to the field
Niche: It helps to force switches
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: All previous users

Name: Glider

Wind Moves: Air Slash, Hurricane, Ominous Wind, Silver Wind, Guts, Twister, Aeroblast, Air Cutter, Defog (it'll not remove hazards), Razor Wind, Whirlwind, Vacuum Wave, Icy Wind, Ice Burn, Fairy Wind
Niche: Inmunity to potential Air Slash and Hurricane is good to cover your teammates, what what is probably the most importan inmunity is Defog, being able to block hazards with its mere presence and can help as Defog bait in Hyper Offense teams
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: All pokemon are knew by its gliding abilities

Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Pokemon are know for being greedy

Pokemon

Musharna
New typing:
Psychic/Fairy
Musharna is related to dreams, and its appareance is Fairy enough, having the Fairy typing would be useful for its new role as Trick Room setter

since there's no template I'm doing it like this:

Cresselia: Psychic -> Psychic/Fairy
It's the lunar pokemon and moon-based moves are Fairy-type. Competitively, it gets a much, much better defensive typing to go with its incredible bulk.

Samurott: Water -> Water/Fighting
Because it just works.

Name: Acid Melt
Existing Move?: N
Category: Special
Damage: 70
Accuracy: 100
Type: Poison
Effect: Super Effective vs. Steel, 10% chance to burn target.
Niche: Steel types are a menace! Fairy/Steel types are hell on earth! Acid Melt solves both problems to a degree. I coulda gone full on Acid Rain weather from a certain other meta (or added Water SE as well), but that's a bit extreme.
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Mostly poison types, even though a good number of them are Phys Attackers and aren't very acidic. Some dragons could spit acid I guess, especially Goodra could use a niche. It could find a nice home on the Nidos for sure as well as acid based mons like Victrebel, Swalot, and the like. Dragalge with this move has irresistible STAB coverage, so 'coverage' becomes a lot freer to choose.

Name: Forest Fire
Existing Move?: No
Category: Special
Type: Fire
PP: 15 (24 max)
Effect: 10% burn chance. When used by grass types, does 50% more damage.
Base Power: 80
Accuracy: 100
Priority: 0
Niche: A solid coverage move for grass types, especially Chloro grasses.
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Mainly grass types I guess. Probably some non-grassers?

Name: Bubble Beam
Existing Move?: Yes
Category: Special
Type: Water
PP: 10 (16 max)
Effect: Strikes as Water and Electric simultaneously. 10% Chance to lower target foe Speed. (Ground's immunity is ignored)
Base Power: 100
Accuracy: 95
Niche: Bubble Beam was once almost useful. Then Gen2 happened and it never recovered its TM status.
As is, it would strike as follows:
2x: Flying, Rock, Fire
.5x: Electric
.25x: Grass, Dragon
0x: Ground
So it's almost damn good coverage by itself. Super effective against 4 types, and taking away the need for Ice Beam (or HP Ice) for dealing with Lando and other Ground/Flying. It also covers Skarm, Aero, and birds and grounds in general. Problem is, it's a free switch for any grass or dragon type at auto 4x resist.
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Has a fairly wide distribution as is. Many waters will need to make a choice between this and Scald. Sheer Forcers will enjoy the speed drop chance.

Name: Seed Bomb
Existing Move?: Yes
Category: Physical
Type: Grass
PP: 20 (32 max)
Effect: 30% chance to inflict Leech Seed on the enemy Pokemon
Base Power: 80
Accuracy: 100
Niche: Leech Seeds! C'mon, not enough Leech Seeds out there! A good smack against Chancey is a very tasty reward, and most likely, a free turn with her switching out.
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Has a fairly wide distribution as is. As coverage, it's a lot better than it used to be, as Leech Seeds can rarely serve you wrong, since it's not a status effect (thus triggering guts or preventing sleep or burn), makes no contact, and Liquid Ooze is really rare. All in all, the main point is to give Seed Bomb a fighting chance against the stronger (and Crit boosted) Leaf Blade.

Name: Crusader
Existing Ability?: No
Effect: Deals 33% more damage to ghost, fairy, dark and dragon types. Not cumulative for dual types.
Niche: Powerful evil monsters giving you trouble? Smite them hard!
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Probably mons with Justified, but a boost to Keldeo is a bad idea always. The other Musketeers aren't high ranking OU any more. Maybe Gallade? Arcanine? Trying to think it needs mons who don't have Justified. Some less than gallant mons could benefit too that don't have great sets of abilities. Maybe some dark types for irony like Pangoro... ? Or Fighters... maybe?

Name: Scarecrow
Existing Ability?: N
Effect: When struck by flying moves, the user takes no damage and reduces the enemy Pokemon's attack corresponding to the attack type (ie. Brave Bird reduces Physical, HP flying or Hurricane reduces Special)
Niche: Screw birds! In all honesty, this pairs decently with Grass types to resist ground/Flying combos. Vespiqueen also resists Flying/Fight as can Gourgeist with this ability.
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Cacnea, Cacturne, Gourgeist, Marowak, Nuzleaf, Shiftry, Vespiqueen

Name: Spirit Catcher
Existing Ability?: N
Effect: Traps Ghost and Fairy Pokemon unless they also have a trapping ability to negate.
Niche: Fairy and Ghost types are pretty scary. Trap em and destroy them!
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Spiritomb, Cofagrius, Lampent Line, Victreebel (swallows spirits?) TBH, I'm not too sure here, but ghost and fairy could be reigned in a little bit.

Name: Make a Wish
Existing Ability?: N
Effect: When brought in, this Pokemon sets up a Wish.
Niche: Healthy lugs that don't get much use can gain a supportive niche. Even less healthy Pokemon can gain a supportive niche in a game that leaves them behind at times.
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Wailmer/lord, Jirachi, Lanturn, Tornadus/Thundurus Incarnate (they're djinn, or genies after all), Togekiss, Wigglytuff, Delphox

Name: Fireplace
Existing Item?: N
Effect: It's Black Sludge for Fire types. Steel types with the item take extra damage.
Removable via Knock Off?: Y
Ignored by Klutz?: N
Niche: Sometimes your fire type deserve a more stylish way to heal. The added damage to steel types means doing things like Trick could be quite nasty. Not that steel types want to stay in on Fire types unless they're Heatran, who's fire already. Could be useful on Rotom-H or Chandelure.
Fling Power: 30

Name: Electrizer/Magmizer
Existing Item?: Y
Effect: When held by Electric/Fire types, speed increases one stage. When used by another type, speed drops. When held by anyone, the user cannot use the same move 2 times in a row.
Removable via Knock Off?: Y
Ignored by Klutz?: N
Niche: Acting like a Choice Scarf that trades permanent Encore for Torment, the -Izers will certainly see use on electric and Fire types that need a little oomph, but can likely be played around as the speed boost is announced at the start of the turn. In other words, protect users by themselves an extra turn when say, your fire type needed to use his coverage move to hit yours hard and now can't use it.
Fling Power: 80

New Typing:
Furret: Normal/Ghost - Sneaky ferrets, almost raccoon-like, they sneak about. Even with an amazing type, it'll still languish 3 tiers below PU.

actually bubble beam wouldn't hit ground types, the immunity overrides everything else afaik

Normally, I'd agree but I was thinking it's a move nobody would use if it was blocked by ground types. It already has 2 quad resistors.

Pokemon:

Grass / Ground 》》Grass / Rock
While Torterra may not have the best stats, Grass/Rock is an astounding typing, with only 4 weaknesses and types that cover each other extremely well. Torterra even has a cool movepool, with utility such as Leech Seed, Roar, Stealth Rock, Dual Screens, and Synthesis. Offensively, it isn't bad either, with coverage like Earthquake, Superpower, Iron Head, and strong STABs in Wood Hammer and Stone Edge all backed up by access to Swords Dance and Rock Polish.

Fire 》》Fire / Ground
Magmortar may not fit it's typing, though I always wanted to see what could be possible for a Fire/Ground Tank, and it's getting Volcanic Rock from my moves anyway. But onto the good part, Magmortar gets a very use full typing, which is usable defensively and amazing offensively. You can hit the few flying types which resist your STABs with Thunderbolt. Though it has no recovery and a lack of physical defense.

Water 》》Water / Dragon
Milotic had almost everything it needed to suceed. It has good stats, good movepool, and good abilities. It just needed a new typing. Now with this new type, Milotic can effectively be a special wall, a bulky attacker, or the like.

looks like the simis will finally have a niche

Abilities:
Name: Levitation Surge
Existing Ability?: N
Effect: Sets Anti-Gravity for 5 turns upon being sent out. See move below.
Niche: Sets Anti-Gravity without using up a turn. See move below.
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Not sure actually, probably the same ones that can learn Gravity/Telekinesis?

Name: Draconiate
Existing Ability?: N
Effect: Increases the power of Normal-type moves by 20% and then changes them to Dragon-type.
Niche: Gives certain Dragon-types powerful, more spammable alternative STAB moves other than Outrage/Draco Meteor (i.e. Hyper Voice, Return/Frustration, Extreme Speed, etc.)
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Dragonite, Kingdra, Flygon? (has Boomburst lol), Salamence?, Garchomp?, Haxorus, Hydreigon?, Tyrantrum, Drampa

Name: Flame Body
Existing Ability?: Y
Effect: The normal effect, plus a Fire immunity and the Pokémon heals up to 1/4 of its maximum Hit Points when hit with Fire-type moves.
Niche: Gives Flame Body some extra utility, now it isn’t just a contact-based status spreader.
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: The same ones that already have Flame Body.

Name: Friend Guard
Existing Ability?: Y
Effect: The normal effect, plus the all of the damage that the Pokemon switching in receives is reduced by 25% for the rest of that turn.
Niche: Now when a Pokemon with Friend Guard switches out, the Pokemon taking its place will take reduced damage from opponent’s attacks and from hazards. Gives an alternative way to help your frailer Pokemon switch in. The ability is now no longer completely useless in singles!
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: The same ones that already have Friend Guard, plus maybe some other Psychic- or Fairy- types like the Ralts line, Mr. Mime line, Togekiss line, Audino/Mega Audino, Florges line, Aromatisse line, Comfey, Wobuffet line, Gothitelle line, etc.

Moves:
Name: Anti-Gravity
Existing Move?: N
Category: Status
Type: Psychic
PP: 5
Effect: The opposite of Gravity, all Pokemon are forced to float off the ground for 5 turns. Deactivates Gravity if that was already in effect, and can be deactivated by Gravity.
Priority: 0
Misc.: Turns the battle into a Sky Battle of sorts, with some differences. Refer to bulbapedia’s page on Sky Battles for moves that can no longer be used when Anti-Gravity is active, except for moves that set terrains, Gravity, and Spikes/Toxic Spikes. Roost can no longer be used. If a Pokemon is already Ingrained, it remains grounded, but Ingrain can’t be used if Anti-Gravity is already in effect. Iron Ball will keep the holder grounded. Pokemon that are not Flying-type or don’t have Levitate will also have their evasion decreased by 2 stages.
Z-Move: Raise user’s Special Attack by 1 stage
Niche: Similar to Gravity, Anti-Gravity can screw with a lot of strategies. Pokemon won’t be able to use the effects of terrains, Pokemon dependent on Roost for recovery won’t be able to heal themselves, Spikes/Toxic Spikes don’t have their normal effects while Anti-Gravity is active, etc.
Potential Pokemon With This Move: All Pokemon that can learn Gravity or Telekinesis, excluding Gigalith line and Ferrothorn line

Name: Fairy Charge
Existing Move?: N
Category: Physical
Type: Fairy
BP: 120
Acc.: 100
PP: 15
Effect: The user receives 1/3 damage inflicted in recoil. Has a 10% chance to decrease the target's Atk by 1 stage.
Priority: 0
Misc.: Makes contact
Z-Move: 190 BP
Niche: Gives Fairy-type physical attackers a powerful STAB move, especially for those that didn't have Play Rough.
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Tapu Koko, Tapu Bulu, Granbull line, Azumarill line, Mawile, Slurpuff line

Name: Wing Beat
Existing Move?: N
Category: Physical
Type: Flying
BP: 80
Acc.: 100
PP: 15
Effect: Has a 30% chance to increase the user's speed by 1 stage.
Priority: 0
Misc.: Makes contact
Z-Move: 160 BP
Niche: Gives Flying-types without beaks a strong, reliable physical attack. The possible speed boost can also be useful.
Potential Pokemon With This Move: All Pokemon that can learn Wing Attack, any Pokemon that has wings (especially large wings), i.e. Scizor, Decidueye (sorry Gyarados and genie trio)

Name: Sky Uppercut
Existing Move?: Y
Category: Physical
Type: Fighting
BP: 85
Acc.: 90
PP: 15
Effect: Can hit targets using Fly or Bounce, knocks them down if they were, and does super-effective damage against Flying-types.
Priority: 0
Misc.: Doesn't ground the target, it just cancels the Fly/Bounce.
Z-Move: 160 BP
Niche: Gives users and especially the Fighting-types another way to fight against Flying-types without having to use another move slot of coverage. Also allows them to break through Steel/Flying-types with ease.
Potential Pokemon With This Move: All Pokemon that already learn it, plus maybe other punching Pokemon (Crabrawler line, Monferno and Infernape, Bewear, etc.)

Items:
Name: Serenity Charm
Existing Item?: N
Effect: Doubles the secondary effect chance of the holder’s moves. Does not stack with Serene Grace. (we definitely don’t want that to happen)
Fling: 30 BP, causes confusion
Removable via Knock Off?: Yes
Ignored by Klutz?: Yes
Niche: Now you have hax! And you have hax! And you too have hax! Allows practically any Pokemon to have Serene Grace’s boost.

Name: Serenity Brace
Existing Item?: N
Effect: Protects the holder from the secondary effects of opponent’s moves.
Fling: 50 BP
Removable via Knock Off?: Yes
Ignored by Klutz?: Yes
Niche: Now you can prevent the opponent from using their hax spam on you. Useful for guarding against those annoying Scald burns, Discharge paralysis, Jirachis, and more!

Name: Weather Warrior's Crystal
Existing Item?: N
Effect: Consumable. When a weather is active, this peculiar crystal increases the holder's Attack and Special Attack stats by 1 stage each, then dissipates.
Fling: 60 BP
Removable via Knock Off?: Yes
Ignored by Klutz?: Yes
Niche: Can effectively replace a turn of set up. Useful for any weather-oriented attacker or sweeper, especially frailer ones or those without good boosting moves.

Name: Cleanse Tag
Existing Item?: Y
Effect: When held, the holder is immune to the status effects of Poison, Paralysis, and Burn.
Fling: 30 BP, randomly induces Poison, Paralysis, or Burn
Removable via Knock Off?: Yes
Ignored by Klutz?: Yes
Niche: The holder can still be inflicted with Poison, Paralysis, or Burn, but will no longer suffer from their effects (no health loss, no speed drop, or attack drop). However, abilities and moves activated by those statuses are still activated, i.e. Facade still gets doubled BP, Guts still increases attack power, Venoshock still does double damage against a poisoned target holding a Cleanse Tag, etc.

Pokemon:
Name: Absol and Absol-Mega
New Typing: Dark / Fairy
Niche: Fairy typing not only gives a unique type combo but also gives it STAB Play Rough in addition to its Dark-type STAB moves. While it doesn’t matter too much because of its horrid bulk, it also neutralizes the Fighting- and Bug- type weaknesses while giving it a new Dragon immunity which could allow for more opportunities to switch in.

Name: Goomy, Sliggoo, Goodra
New Typing: Dragon / Water
Niche: They’re gooey and like water and rain, plus they have Hydration as an ability and Water-type attacks to go with the new typing. Muddy Water could be useful for special sets while Aqua Tail could be used on physical sets.

Name: Blissey
New Typing: Normal / Fairy
Niche: You could argue that Chansey should get this typing too, but I’m going to give it to just Blissey so that it isn’t totally overshadowed by its pre-evolution. This neutralizes the Fighting-type weakness so it can tank their attacks better, plus a useful Dragon immunity. Blissey is also quite Fairy-like itself, it would look just right with the other pink Fairy-types.

Abilities
Name: Anticipation
Existing Ability?: Y
Effect: Reveals the first 2 moves of the opponent upon entry
Niche: you'll know what the heck they actually have which can mean a lot for actual scouting.
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: The usual guys who have it, other mons that like leading.

Name: Rattled
Existing Ability?: Y
Effect: When hit by a bug, dark, or ghost type move, increase speed by 2 stages and gives focus energy effect.
Niche: This ability is also terrible, this should give mons who have this ability some actual use for it.
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Generally easily scared pokemon

Name: Anger point
Existing Ability?: Y
Effect: If hit by a move, gains + 1 stage in a random offensive stat.
Niche: Could be fun for mons like tauros
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: The only mon i can think to add this to is simisage, (look at its dex entries, it really makes sense after that).

Name: Avian
Existing Ability?: N
Effect: Holder of ability counts as levitating, gains 1.5 boost to flying type moves
Niche: For mons fully capable of flying that don't get the flying type
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Decidueye, Scizor, etc.

Moves:
Name: Stone stomp

Effect: 100 percent accurate, 30 percent chance to drop defense.
Priority: 0
Misc.: Contact
Z-Move: 160
Niche: Reliable rock type move
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Mons (primarily rock types) with the capability of stomping like gigalith, could also be given to mons known for having powerful feet like blaziken, hitmonlee, and tsareena.

Name: Self destruct
Existing Move?: Y
Category: Physical

Effect: Type of move changes to be first type of user, same effect as before.
Priority: 0
Misc.: Non contact (not that it matters)
Z-Move: 160
Niche: We need our stab explosion feeling on more than just lickilicky
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Just mons that can explode.

Name: Windblown Strike
Existing Move?: N
Category: Physical

PP: 10
BP: 95
Effect: 10 percent chance to lower target's speed, 1.5 boost in tailwind
Priority: 0
Misc.: Contact
Z-Move: 160
Niche: Give flying types like jumpluff, drifblim, and emolga a flying stab not named acrobatics.
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Mons stated in niche, other mons that ride the wind, (whimsicott, tornadus, and gliscor come to mind).

Type changes
Pokemon: Ledian
New typing: Bug/Fighting
Niche: Too many bug flying types, ledian (even with an attack stat as high as a hoppip) would be able to define itself more effectively with the bug fighting type.

honestly i don't see much point in changing a type of a mon unless we're able to give it some fitting moves or something

Name: Guard Up
Existing Ability?: No
Effect: Upon switch-in, this Pokemon's Defense or Special Defense goes up by 1 stage depending on the opponent's higher attacking stat (Download clone).
Niche: Allows users of the ability to either wall the opposing Pokemon more easily or set up on them more easily thanks to taking less from their attacks. Kind of works like Intimidate, but it sticks around
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Escavalier, Shelmet, Honedge and Doublade, Chespin line, All "cocoon" Pokemon excluding Whirlipede and Charjabug, Hitmonchan, Burmy and Wormadam, Gardevoir and Gallade

Name: Unarm
Existing Ability?: No
Effect: While this Pokemon is active, the opposing Pokemon is put under the effects of Embargo. Goes away when this Pokemon switches out.
Niche: Gives an actual use to Embargo by being able to neutralize the opponent's item for 5 turns, which could shut down a scarfer or shorten screens. I decided that using Embargo's effect would be better than using Magic Room as Magic Room can only be used situationally to your own benefit.
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Liepard, Banette, Sandile line, a bunch of other Dark-types.

Name: Dynamotor
Existing Ability?: No(t in this Pet Mod)
Effect: This Pokemon gains the effects of Charge on switch-in
Niche: Gives a huge one-time-per-switch-in boost to an Electric move, which allows the Pokemon to deal massive amounts of damage for one turn, possibly getting and otherwise impossible KO. Also, this does come from another Pet Mod, being The Heart of the Cards.
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Tynamo line, Shinx line, Charjabug, Blitzle line, Mareep line, Klink line

Name: Strong Jaw
Existing Ability?: Yes
Effect: Same effect as before, but it now applies to Bug Bite as well.
Niche: Strong Jaw is fine as is pretty much, this is more to redistribute it to a couple of logical users that would really appreciate such an ability.
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Everything that gets it before, Shinx line, Durant, Poochyena line, Walrein (physical Walrein new meta), Bagon line, Litten line,
Name: Terrifying Tackle
Existing Move?: No
Category: Physical
Type: Ghost
BP: 95
PP: 16 Max
Effect: 90% Accuracy, 10% chance to lower the opponent's Attack by 1
Priority: 0
Misc.: Hit adjacent foes, Makes Contact
Z-Move: 175 BP Never-Ending Nightmare
Niche: Gives Physical Ghost-types a good decent powered STAB move that doesn't take 2 turns, greatly boosting their damage output. This especially helps Ghosts that don't learn Shadow Claw.
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Duskull line, Shuppet line, Phantump line, Pumpkaboo line (please), Dhelmise, Golett line, Spiritomb, Shedinja, Zorua line, Giratina, Darkrai, Drowzee line, Gastly line

Name: Legend's Anointing
Existing Move?: No
Category: Status
Type: Dragon
BP: N/A
PP: 32 Max
Effect: 100% Accuracy Adds the Dragon-typing to the opposing Pokemon in addition to their original types.
Priority: 0
Misc.: Replaces types added by Trick-or-Treat or Forest's Curse. Fails if the opponent is already Dragon-type.
Z-Move: Raises all stats by 1
Niche: You know how good Z-Trick-or-Treat could be if Gourgeist had the stats or movepool to abuse it with? Well, apply that to some Dragons. It's the same idea, use the Z-Move to get +1 Everything and then smack the opponent with a super effective Dragon move to easily get them out of the way. Plus, depending on what gets this move, it might serve a slight use to getting KOs without using the Z-Move.
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Vibrava and Flygon, Tyrunt line, Druddigon, Noivern, Drampa, Jangmo-o line, Charizard, Gyarados, Bagon line (maybe), Deino line (maybe), Dragon-type cover legendaries

Name: Power Poison
Existing Move?: No
Category: Status
Type: Poison
BP: N/A
PP: 40
Effect: 100% Accuracy, poisons the opponent and raises Special Attack by 2.
Priority: 0
Misc.: Fails if the target is a Poison or Steel-type (works if the user's ability is Corrosion)
Z-Move: Resets lowered stats
Niche: Gives a nice boosting option to Poison-types, wearing down the opponent at the same time. This move does seem a bit broken, but kinda like Strength Sap, it can miss and immunities matter, which should balance it out.
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Nidoran line (both genders), Koffing line, Oddish line, Zubat line, Roselia and Roserade, Glupin line, Seviper, Stunky line, Skrelp line, Salandit line, Pyukumuku (rip Baton Pass), Umbreon, Tympole line, Lileep line
Name: Torch
Existing Item?: No
Effect: Raises the accuracy of all active Pokemon's moves and the holder's Fire-type moves by 1.2x
Removable via Knock Off?: Yes
Ignored by Klutz?: Yes
Fling: 60 BP, burns the target
Niche: Provides a power and accuracy boost to Fire-types, who certainly appreciate hitting Fire Blast more often. This could even help in hitting less accurate moves, with the Fire power boost just being a plus. For example, Tapu Koko could run Thunder (goes to 84% accuracy, not terrible) while boosting the damage of Hidden Power Fire (goes to 72 BP, which is better than Gen 2-5 Hidden Powers).

Name: Enigma Berry
Existing Item?: Yes
Effect: When this Pokemon is hit by a super effective move, the damage is weakened by 0.67x and the user heals 25% of the their max HP immediately after. Single use
Removable via Knock Off?: Yes (Activates before being Knocked Off if the holder is weak to Dark)
Ignored by Klutz?: Yes
Fling: 10 BP
Niche: Basically an omni-type resisting berry that while it's effect is weaker, comes with the added bonus of the 25% healing that the Enigma Berry originally gave.
Pokemon: Hoothoot line
New typing: Normal/Flying -> Fairy/Flying
Niche: Gives Noctowl a pretty decent defensive typing and a good offensive typing, allowing it to take advantage of Tinted Lens better (and thank goodness it already get Moonblast). Weirdly enough, Noctowl with Agility (or maybe even Tricky Seed) will have the speed to make it work, and isn't the weakest thing in the world at 86 SpA.
