Pet Mod SylveMons (Discussion Phase)

Sets and Stuff, we've done this before

Also I'm on the council now, hi.

Basically the same as regular OU, though Chandelure (and Eviolith Lampent in Trick Room) have Mind Trick over it.

This greatly benefits from the rise of Trick Room, being a great sweeper as Gyro Ball does way too much to everything and Beast Boost let's it spiral out of control. Also bulky enough to be a manual Trick Room setter, but Time Warp existing makes that less important.

Should've given this Acid Melt on second thought, but wouldn't be any good anyhow.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA
lol banned.

Musharna @ Room Extender
Ability: Time Warp
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe
- Dazzling Gleam
- Healing Wish
- Moonlight
- Teleport

Stakataka @ Rockium Z
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Lonely Nature
IVs: 15 Def / 0 Spe
- Gyro Ball
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Superpower / Stealth Rock

Lampent @ Eviolith
Ability: Mind Trick
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpA / 8 SpD
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe
- Overheat
- Shadow Ball
- Energy Ball
- Flame Bullet

Tapu Bulu @ Tricky Seed
Ability: Grassy Surge
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Wood Hammer
- Fairy Charge
- Stone Edge / Superpower
- Horn Leech

Beheeyem @ Life Orb
Ability: Time Warp
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe
- Nasty Plot
- Psyshock
- Dark Pulse
- Signal Beam / Recover

Drampa @ Life Orb
Ability: Berserk
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpA / 8 SpD
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe
- Hyper Voice
- Draco Meteor
- Fire Blast / Roost
- Defog

Very Quick Rundowns:
Musharna - The obligatory Time Warp setter, also providing Healing Wish support.
Stakataka - Being in Trick Room long enough to sweep a whole team now makes Stakataka a really cool choice for a Trick Room. With Attack boosts from Beast Boost, Maxataka Stakataka can get out of control very easily. (Alternate choices: Mega Mawile, Magearna)
Lampent - Eviolith Lampent is basically Blacephalon in Trick Room, but instead of Beast Boost, you get priority and an Overheat that's half a Memento.
Tapu Bulu - Come in, get your -1 Spe, kill everything. Also, Grassy Terrain helps with the Earthquakes that Lampent and Stakataka have to deal with.
Beheeyem - Simply a secondary Trick Room setter and sweeper
Drampa - ... I needed hazard removal...

Tapu Fini @ Leftovers
Ability: Misty Surge
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD (insert better spread here)
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Taunt / Defog
- Moonblast
- Defog / Nature's Madness / Scald
- Rinse Off
With it's monstrous bulk and a new recovery move, Tapu Fini will be a great defensive mon once again, being annoyingly hard to break through. Can't be Toxiced, can Taunt your Taunts lif it runs some Speed, and Defogs away your hazards so it won't be worn down. There's a reason why we have this on our radar.

Suicune @ Leftovers / Waterium Z
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Calm Mind
- Rinse Off
- Ice Beam
I hate myself for agreeing to this already...

Pretty much everything that got Rinse Off under went a nice buff and runs sets similar to the 2 above, but let's see one more:

Azumarill @ Leftovers
Ability: Sap Sipper
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Whirlpool
- Perish Song
- Rinse Off
- Protect
When the Gen 2 VC Transfer moves become legal, this will be one hilarious gimmick

Azumarill @ Choice Band
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Liquidation
- Aqua Jet
- Fairy Charge
- Knock Off
Right, this thing got Fairy Charge. Have fun switching in during Trick Room...

Dragalge @ Black Sludge / Dragonium Z
Ability: Adaptability
EVs: 252 HP / 204 SpA / 52 Spe
Modest Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Acid Melt
- Toxic Spikes
- Filler (Dragon Pulse, Focus Blast, Dragon Tail, Haze, Hydro Pump, Thunderbolt, etc.)
Who's needs Focus Blast anyway?

Primarina @ Waterium Z
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Pump
- Moonblast
- Psychic / Ice Beam / Energy Ball
- Swampland
With Z-Swampland giving you +1 SpA and essentially being Tailwind, Primarina can be a decent late game cleaner. That dangerous 126 Special Attack getting any higher is scary and now it can actually outspeed something out of Trick Room (though, Trick Room is actually viable now...).

Swanna @ Life Orb / Weather Warrior's Crystal
Ability: Air Stream
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hurricane
- Scald
- Ice Beam / Defog
- Roost
This is the only Air Stream setter that gets Hurricane, so here.

Altaria @ Altarianite
Ability: Air Stream -> Pixilate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Return
- Earthquake
- Roost
Mega Altaria greatly benefits from Air Stream weakening Ice moves, making it a little easier to setup on Ice moves, especially if it's non-STAB. The DDD set from last gen probably shows this better, but whatever.

Gallade (M) @ Galladite
Ability: Guard Up -> Knight's Blade
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Psycho Cut
- Close Combat
- Night Slash
- Swords Dance
Speaking of being able to set up more easily...

Samurott @ Life Orb
Ability: Knight's Blade
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Razor Shell
- Sacred Sword
- Aqua Jet
- Swords Dance / Poison Jab
WOOT

For adding moves, sure.
I'll have to talk to Ludi about abilities and type changes (I know you want to change it to Electric/Fighting), but if I'd personally allow it, though know that it would be unreleased.

I'd be fine with changes to Zerora now, but it would still be unreleased, and therefore unusable until it's released

Can't wait for this to be playable! Though, I'd appreciate an updated OP, I know it's hard to keep everything up to date, but still, it's hella annoying to have to scroll back and forth to see what won and what didn't. Either way, lemme drop a team:

Here's my take on Trick Room

Celebi @ Room Extender
Ability: Time Warp
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- U-turn
- Synthesis
- Healing Wish

Drifblim (M) @ Flame Orb
Ability: Flare Boost
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpA
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt
- Icy Wind
- Defog

Cresselia @ Reverse Core
Ability: Magic Healing
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe
- Ice Beam
- Trick Room
- Moonlight
- Lunar Dance

Samurott (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Knight's Blade
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Razor Shell
- Sacred Sword
- Aqua Jet
- Swords Dance

Magearna @ Fairium Z
Ability: Soul-Heart
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Fleur Cannon
- Thunderbolt
- Focus Blast
- Trick Room

Stakataka @ Life Orb
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Lonely Nature
IVs: 15 Def / 0 Spe
- Gyro Ball
- Stone Edge
- Superpower
- Trick Room
Also, DH's version is not up to date:

Your team was rejected for the following reasons:

- "timewarp" is an invalid ability.
- "reversecore" is an invalid item.
- "knightsblade" is an invalid ability.

Another also, is that I think some of the sets Yoshi posted could be more 'up-to-date'? No offense fam, but I think these sets are slightly better:

Tapu Fini @ Leftovers
Ability: Misty Surge
EVs: 248 HP / 176 Def / 16 SpD / 68 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Taunt
- Rinse Off
- Defog / Nature's Madness

You definitely want some Speed with Fini, I'm not a huge fan of Timid Fini, but at least outrunning 16 Spe EVs Lando is a must!

Suicune @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 52 Def / 204 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Calm Mind
- Rinse Off
- Protect

With Rinse Off, Suicune can act as a hybrid of VinCune and CroCune, keeping Protect to stall 'mons out and having a reliable recovery move. Speed is for Timid Tran and Adamant Lando.

Giving Poip Acid Melt means Naga gets it too. Eventually I'll figure a way to get a Fairy/Steel type with Fire Immunity into this mod to render that waspy dragon a sitting duck.

Perhaps I'm thinking about this incorrectly though.

Making one Pokemon the perfect Naga awnser is definitely not a way to bring it back! It would be less broken? Yes! But it would be for sure super overcentralizing, because only one Pokémon can reliably counter it. If we wanna bring it back we should nerf it in some other way, introducing the perfect counter is not the right way.

It has been a long time...

Pokemon

New type: Electric/Grass
New Moves:
Giga Drain, Leech Seed, Leaf Storm.
Rationale: It regularly learns a good amount of Grass moves, and, c'mon, it literally has TREE at its name
Competitive Value: Electric/Grass is a much better typing both offensibly and defensibly than mono Electric and Xurk can abuse its better thanks to the new aditions of Giga Drain and Leaf Storm.

New type: Ghost/Steel
New Moves:
Shadow Sneak, Phantom Force, Shadow Ball, Will-O-Wisp (almost every Ghost Pokemon learns this).
Rationale: Don't say to me that you didn't want Stakatakatakatakatakataka part Ghost.
Competitive Value: Now it has a much better typing than before and it has some new tools to use like priority on Shadow Sneak and an annoying move on Will-O-Wisp.

New type: Water/Fairy
New Moves:
Moonblast, Dazzling Gleam, Draining Kiss.
Rationale: Everyone of us knows why :^].
Competitive Value: Now it has a much more intersting typing than before, wich could let this mon to distinguish itself from another defensive Water mons.

New type: Psychic/Poison
New Moves:
Calm Mind.
Rationale: It learns a great amount of Psychic-type moves already and because of its Sun Pokedex Entry: One of several mysterious Ultra Beasts. People on the street report observing those infested by it suddenly becoming violent.
Competitive Value: Its typing, well, isn't much better offensibly than the regular one, but defensibly, boy, only 3 weaknesses over 4 weaknesses and 1 x4 weakness. Oh, and now it can set up with Calm Mind, I guess.

Moves

Name: Heal Block
Existing Move?: Y
Category: Status
Type: Psychic
PP: 15
Effect: Instead affecting the opposiong Pokemon, it puts a spell in the opposing FIELD which will nulify the use of healing moves for 5 turns (maybe 3 turns considering preventing healing moves for the opposing team for 5 turns might be too much)
Priority: 0
Z-Move: +2 Special Attack
Misc: Affected by Magic Coat and Magic Bounce
Niche: Heal Block is not uses excepting for Palkia in Ubers, but increasing the effect to the whole opponent team would add some utility to the users of this move.
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Actual users

Name: Bitter Fragance
Existing Move?: N(ot in this mod)
Category: Status
Type: Poison
PP: 15
Effect: Drops target's defense and special defense by one level and switches user (Parting Shot Defense version) 20% of chance to add paralysis
Priority: 0
Z-Move: Heal's replacement HP
Misc: Affected by Magic Coat and Magic Bounce
Niche: That'd create pivots which can create a space for setup sweepers to pressure opposing team.
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Pokemon use smell as a defense mechanism: Skuntank line, Aromatisse line, Muk (Kanto) line

Abilities

Name: Aroma Veil
Existing Ability?: Y
Effect: In adittion to the original effect, there is a 50% of chance to use Aromatheraphy at the end of the turn
Niche: Aroma Veil effect is decent enough, but this buff would creat a good cleric without the need to use a moveslot fulfill this role
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Actual users, Pokemon can create a pleasant fragance, Lilligant, Roserade

Pokemon

Spritzee and Aromatisse
New type:
Poison/Fairy
New Moves: Sludge Bomb
Rationale: "It devises various scents, pleasant and unpleasant, and emits scents that its enemies dislike in order to gain an edge in battle" That's Aromatisse description in Pokemon X and Omega Ruby, with that in mind, I think the ability to create a repugnant fragance suits with some Poison type Pokemon like Skuntank or Muk
Competitive Value: Despite being walled by steel type, this unique typing offer an so much needed offensive and defensive utility, and lets remember she now has Nasty Plot, a Trick Room attacker with this typing could be useful.

Name: Steamroller
Existing Move?: Y
Category: Physical
Type: Bug
PP: 20 (max 32)
Effect: 85 Base Power 100 accuracy contact move. If the user scores a KO with this move, it will use this move again on the victim's replacement. Can repeat indefinitely.
Priority: 0
Misc.: N/A
Z-Move: 160 BP Bug Physical
Niche: A neat STAB move for Bug-type sweepers, this move provides great value when it gets a KO. Unfortunately, it's still Bug type. Now it feels much more like a steamroller.
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Scyther line, Togedemaru, Caterpie line, Weedle line, Wurmple lines, Forretress, Durant, Larvesta line, Anorith line, Skorupi line, etc

Delphox -

New Moves (To slightly aid the new typing) - Moonblast, Draining Kiss
Rationale - Delphox is a magic fox. Magic can be represented with both Psychic and Fairy, but I prefer to link it to Fairy.
Competitive Values - Now Delphox has a great ratio with Weakness:Resistance/Immunity (1:2), with critical resistances in types like Dark, Fairy, Fighting and Fire, and an immunity to Dragon. It also gains STAB on Dazzling Gleam and gains a new STAB in Moonblast, although it loses Psychic STAB.

Name - Heatproof
Existing Ability - Yes
Effect - Immune to fire type moves
Rationale - Come on, it's called Heatproof, not Heat Resistant. We also need something to drop Naganadel back to OU because I'm still salty it's Ubers.
Niche - Grants pokemon the ability to switch in in Fire Type moves, that most of them would usually be weak to.
Potential Pokemon With This Ability - Bronzor line, Regice (Sapphire Entry: Its icy body is so cold, it will not melt even if it is immersed in magma.), Steelix (DPPt Anime Entry: Steelix's body is much harder than any metal as it is tempered underground under high pressure and heat. [It must be practically immune to fire if this is why it's so psychically tanky])

Doesn't really fit with the dex entries:

"It gazes into the flame at the tip of its branch to achieve a focused state, which allows it to see into the future."
"Using psychic power, it generates a fiery vortex of 5,400 degree Fahrenheit, incinerating foes swept into this whirl of flame."
Both quite clearly link it to the psychic type.

I'm still a little sad that two of the torment items didn't win already, but w/e, I'll keep submitting 'till they win :)

Name: Voltage Feed
Existing Move?: N
Category: Other
Type: Electric
PP: 10
Effect: Heals the user for 50% of its total HP, if Electric Terrain is under effect user heals 100% and Electric Terrain dissapears
Priority: 0.
Z-Move: +1 Speed
Description: Allows Electric-types to take on a more bulky approach giving Lanturn and Stunfisk room to shine in lower tiers. Can also be helpful for Tapu Koko which recovers all of its HP and can U-turn out as its terrain ends, but before you said this is an even bigger buff to Koko, keep in mind this only a percentage of what the Pet Mod has already done to buff it :S.
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Pikachu, Raichu, Alolan Raichu, Alolan Geodude, Alolan Graveler, Alolan Golem, Electabuzz, Jolteon, Lanturn, Pichu, Mareep, Flaffy, Ampharos, Elekid, Raikou, Electrike, Manectric, Plusle, Minun,Shinx, Luxio, Luxray, Pachirisu, Electivire, Blitzle, Zebstrika, Joltik, Galvantula, Stunfisk, Helioptile, Heliolisk, Togedemaru, Tapu Koko, Xurkitree, Cubone, Marowak, Alolan Marowak, Rhyhorn, Rhydon, Sceptile, Rhyperior, Goldeen, Seaking.

Name: Mind Dazzle
Existing Move?: N
Category: Special
Type: Psychic
BP: 30
PP: 10
Acc: 100
Effect: Deals double damage if Psychic Terrain is under effect but dissipates the Terrain before doing the move.
Priority: +1.
Z-Move: 100 BP Shattered Psyche
Description: I had the idea of this move before the Naganadel discussion and only now I realised how greatly it fits as a Naganadel check, still not enough to bring it back in my opinion. Either way, this is still the priority that the likes of Tapu Lele, Mega Alakazam and what not always wanted.
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Vulpix, Ninetales, Abra, Kadabra, Alakazam, Drowzee, Hypno, Mr. Mime, Jynx, Mewtwo, Mew, Hoothoot, Noctowl, Natu, Xatu, Espeon, Stantler, Smoochum, Raikou, Entei, Suicune, Ho-Oh, Lugia, Ralts, Kirlia, Gardevoir, Nuzleaf, Shiftry, Meditite, Medicham, Spoink, Grumpig, Chimecho, Latias, Latios, Jirachi, Deoxys, Chingling, Mime Jr., Gallade, Uxie, Mesprit, Azelf, Victini, Gothita, Gothorita, Gothitelle, Elgyem, Beheeyem, Zorua, Zoroark, Melloetta, Braxien, Delphox, Greninja, Espurr, Meowstic, Inkay, Malamar, Hoopa, Oranguru, Drampa, Bruxish, Tapu Lele, Solgaleo, Lunala, Necrozma.

Name: Distress Glasses
Existing Item?: N
Effect: Holders Special Attack is 1.33x, but it can't use the same move twice in a row
Removable via Knock Off?: Y
Ignored by Klutz?: Y
Niche: Choice Specs but slightly less annoying, can be great for Koko, Ash Greninja and other 'mons that want the power boost but dislike being locked.

Name: Anguish Bandana
Existing Item?: N
Effect: Holders Attack is 1.33x, but it can't use the same move twice in a row
Removable via Knock Off?: Y
Ignored by Klutz?: Y
Niche: Choice Band but slightly less annoying, is cool for stuff that likes the power boost like Weavile or Terrakion but don't want to be locked in one move.

Name: Mach 5
Existing Ability?: N
Effect: Sound-based moves get +1 Priority
Niche: Noivern is now a very reliable revenge killer with Priority Boomburst and what not :)
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Flygon, Noivern

Name: Dull Reversion
Existing Ability?: N
Effect: Removes all field effects upon switch in such as room, weather, terrain, screens, safeguard, lucky chant and all that kind of stuff. Does not remove hazards
Niche: Great, I won't lose to Trick Room, Tapu Koko, or Air Current teams now :)
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Tauros, Seel, Dewgong, Exeggcute, Exeggutor, Exeggutor-Alola, Togepi, Togetic, Dunsparce, Stantler, Miltank, Skitty, Delcatty, Gulpin, Swalot, Bidoof, Bibarel, Togekiss, Dusknoir, Pidove, Tranquill, Unfezant, Bouffalant, Oranguru, Type: Null

Name: Parental Bond
Existing Ability?: Y
Effect: Same effect, except, the multiplier for the second hit goes back to 0.5 and moves such as Seismic Toss get affected by the multiplier
Niche: OU Mega Kang?
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: No Redistribtion?

Name: Gale Wings
Existing Ability?: Y
Effect: Flying-type moves get priority if the user is at 50% or more of it's total HP, always gets the boost under air current
Niche: OU Talonflame?
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: No Redistribtion?

Making one Pokemon the perfect Naga awnser is definitely not a way to bring it back! It would be less broken? Yes! But it would be for sure super overcentralizing, because only one Pokémon can reliably counter it. If we wanna bring it back we should nerf it in some other way, introducing the perfect counter is not the right way.
Wont all this trick roomage really damper speedy sweepers like Naga and Phermosa?

Anyway onto slate.

Moves
Name: Forest Fire
Existing Move?: No
Category: Special
Type: Fire
PP: 15 (24 max)
Effect: 10% burn chance. When used by grass types, does 50% more damage.
Base Power: 80
Accuracy: 100
Priority: 0
Niche: A solid coverage move for grass types, especially Chloro grasses.
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Mainly grass types I guess. Probably some non-grassers?

Name: Boulder Crush
Existing Move?: No
Category: Physical
Type: Rock
PP: 20 (32 max)
Effect: Uses a reversed Grass Knot/Low Kick Formula to determine damage. Non-Contact. 160 Z Powered.
Base Power: -
Accuracy: 100
Priority: 0
Niche: Pseudo Legendaries won't like getting hit with high powered moves. Even without SE, it's consistent damage.
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Rock and Fight types, some Grounds too.
Was considering the same for Steamroller to dissuade Mew and Celebii from ever showing its face again as it eats accurate 120 power bug moves (before STAB and SE), but it's taken this slate.

Name: Shiver
Existing Move?: No
Category: Misc
Type: Ice
PP: 15 (24 max)
Effect: The big difference between Yawn and Shiver is that while Shiver does freeze the target, it takes an extra turn to take effect.
Base Power: -
Accuracy: --
Priority: 0
Niche: Force a switch! This would be the only consistent Freeze move and it's still avoidable.
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Ice Types tend to have the chill. Certainly Snorunt.

Name: Seed Bomb
Existing Move?: Yes
Category: Physical
Type: Grass
PP: 20 (32 max)
Effect: 30% chance to inflict Leech Seed on the enemy Pokemon
Base Power: 80
Accuracy: 100
Niche: Leech Seeds! C'mon, not enough Leech Seeds out there! A good smack against Chancey is a very tasty reward, and most likely, a free turn with her switching out.
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Has a fairly wide distribution as is. As coverage, it's a lot better than it used to be, as Leech Seeds can rarely serve you wrong, since it's not a status effect (thus triggering guts or preventing sleep or burn), makes no contact, and Liquid Ooze is really rare. All in all, the main point is to give Seed Bomb a fighting chance against the stronger (and Crit boosted) Leaf Blade. For non-grass types such as Donphan or even Mantine, it adds a layer of potential stall.

Abilities.

Name: Crusader
Existing Ability?: No
Effect: Deals 33% more damage to ghost, fairy, dark and dragon types. Not cumulative for dual types.
Niche: Powerful evil monsters giving you trouble? Smite them hard!
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Probably mons with Justified, but a boost to Keldeo is a bad idea always. The other Musketeers aren't high ranking OU any more. Maybe Gallade? Arcanine? Trying to think it needs mons who don't have Justified. Some less than gallant mons could benefit too that don't have great sets of abilities. Maybe some dark types for irony like Pangoro... ? Or Fighters... maybe?

Name: Scarecrow
Existing Ability?: N
Effect: When struck by flying moves, the user takes no damage and reduces the enemy Pokemon's attack corresponding to the attack type (ie. Brave Bird reduces Physical, HP flying or Hurricane reduces Special)
Niche: Screw birds! In all honesty, this pairs decently with Grass types to resist ground/Flying combos. Vespiqueen also resists Flying/Fight as can Gourgeist with this ability.
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Cacnea, Cacturne, Gourgeist, Marowak, Nuzleaf, Shiftry, Vespiqueen

Name: Justify
Existing Ability?: N
Effect: Adds Dark Immunity, including Taunt and Torment
Niche: While Most Justified Pokemon are immune to these moves as is, it wouldn't hurt to ignore Taunts.
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Has decent accessibility, but maybe a few mons that want to not be SE to Dark would enjoy.

Name: Make a Wish
Existing Ability?: N
Effect: When brought in, this Pokemon sets up a Wish.
Niche: Healthy lugs that don't get much use can gain a supportive niche. Even less healthy Pokemon can gain a supportive niche in a game that leaves them behind at times.
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Wailmer/lord, Jirachi, Lanturn, Tornadus/Thundurus Incarnate (they're djinn, or genies after all), Togekiss, Wigglytuff, Delphox. Things with lots of health that aren't nurse eggs.

Items

Name: Ice Box
Existing Item?: N
Effect: When held by Ice types provides leftovers and halves rock damage. Non-Ice types are slowed by 1 stage and take 50% more from ice.
Removable via Knock Off?: Y
Ignored by Klutz?: N
Niche: Poor low defense ice types. Many wish they could tank, their resistance chart says they should not. A little something from the ice box wouldn't hurt especially with Stealth Rock running rampant.
Fling Power: 30

Name: Doom Orb
Existing Item?: N
Effect: Almost an inverse Life Orb. Reduces damage output by 20% to grant 10% HP restoration, but only if the Pokemon acts that turn.
Ignored by Klutz?: N
Niche: The Niche is inversed of Life Orb and therefore should be used as such. Though it can be tricked. Defensive mons who want to use this over Life Orb better beware sleep, paralysis, flinch, confusion and Fake Outs and any other method that prevents action such as freeze hax. If you fear your pokemon might need to eat sleep for your team, then Doom Orb is not for you. If tricked, then Doom Orb will still provide one last restoration before being removed.

Name: Stun Orb
Existing Item?: N
Effect: Paralyzes the Pokemon in question.
Removable via Knock Off?: Y
Ignored by Klutz?: N
Niche: Got some quick feet? Give em the status they need to not disrupt their physical sweep by either hurting them or hurting them less while cutting their Damage. You can also Trick/Switch it, if Thunder Wave isn't your thing or isn't an option to begin with, or if you think the enemy will use lots of Heal Bell/Healing Wish.

True! Didn't really think about how busted Trick Room was, I guess if we keep nerfing it a suspect might be a posibilty, who knows? I accidently just added a move that deals with it with wide distribution, but we'll see.
Was considering the same for Steamroller to dissuade Mew and Celebii from ever showing its face again as it eats accurate 120 power bug moves (before STAB and SE), but it's taken this slate.
You can submit Steamroller, smae thing happened when both me and Yoshi submitted Adrenaline Orb.

Moves:
Name: Recrystalize
Existing Move?: No
Category: Status
Type:

PP: 10 (max 16)
Effect: Heals up to 50% of the user's max HP;
-types recover 67% in Hail and
-types recover 67% in Sandstorm. Z-move also heals the user's status.
Base Power: -
Accuracy: -
Priority: 0
Z-move: Also heals user’s status
Niche: Gives Ice-types and Rock-types a good recovery move that is not like Morning Sun and could potentially increase their viability. A Rock/Ice type would get both effects. The name might not make sense for non-Ice or non-Rock types to use, but they would still get the 50% recovery.
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Ice and Rock types, especially those that are crystal-like or rocky, including:
: Sandslash-Alola line, Cloyster, Glalie/Froslass line, Walrein line, Regice, Abomasnow line, Glaceon, Vanilluxe line, Beartic line, Cryogonal, Kyurem, Auroros line (they’re both), Avalugg line
: Golem lines (both), Corsola, Lunatone, Solrock, Regirock, Gigalith line, Carbink, Diancie, Minior, Stack Attacka’

Name: Frost Wave
Existing Move?: No
Category: Special
Type:

PP: 15 (max 24)
Effect: Has a 20% chance to freeze Pokemon hit. Hits all adjacent Pokemon (like Discharge or Lava Plume).
Base Power: 80
Accuracy: 100
Priority: 0
Z-move: 160 BP
Niche: Strong Ice-type Discharge with an increased Freeze chance (I felt that 30% would be too high).
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Most Ice-types, especially special attackers.

Name: Brutalize
Existing Move?: No
Category: Physical
Type:

PP: 5 (max 8)
Effect: Lowers the user's Defense and Special Defense stats by 1 stage each.
Base Power: 120, Z-move is 190 BP
Accuracy: 100
Priority: 0
Niche: Noticed there weren't any widely-distributed, strong physical Dark-type attacks, and I’m pretty sure all of the offensive Dark-types would want a new high damage STAB attack.
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Dark-type physical attackers and maybe some others that are known to viciously attack.
: Houndoom line, Tyranitar line, Mightyena line, Shiftry, Sharpedo line, Cacturne, Crawdaunt, Honchcrow line, Krookodile line, Zoroark line, Bisharp line, Mandibuzz, Hydreigon line, Malamar line, Yveltal, Hoopa, Incineroar, Guzzlord
others: maybe certain Dragon-types and Fighting-types, Gyarados

Name: Stalwart Sword
Existing Move?: No
Category: Physical
Type:

PP: 15 (max 24)
Effect: Has a high critical hit ratio and a 30% chance to increase the user’s Def by 1 stage. Boosted by Knight’s Blade.
Base Power: 90
Accuracy: 100
Priority: 0
Z-move: 175 BP
Niche: Gives sword-users a new move that could boost their physical bulk.
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Kartana, everything with Knight’s Blade, Skarmory, Aegislash

Abilities:
Name: Flame Body
Existing Ability?: Y
Effect: The normal effect, plus a Fire immunity and the Pokémon heals up to 1/4 of its maximum Hit Points when hit with Fire-type moves.
Niche: Gives Flame Body some extra utility, now it isn’t just a contact-based status spreader.
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: The same ones that already have Flame Body.

Name: Friend Guard
Existing Ability?: Y
Effect: The normal effect, plus the all of the damage that the Pokemon switching in receives is reduced by 25% for the rest of that turn.
Niche: Now when a Pokemon with Friend Guard switches out, the Pokemon taking its place will take reduced damage from opponent’s attacks and from hazards. Gives an alternative way to help your frailer Pokemon switch in. The ability is now no longer completely useless in singles!
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: The same ones that already have Friend Guard, plus maybe some other Psychic- or Fairy- types like the Ralts line, Mr. Mime line, Togekiss line, Audino/Mega Audino, Florges line, Aromatisse line, Comfey, Wobuffet line, Gothitelle line, etc.

Name: Auroral Aura
Existing Ability?: N
Effect: Aurora Veil will be set at the end of the Pokemon’s turn if Hail is active. This ability will attempt to activate every turn as long as the Pokemon is in battle. Also grants the Pokemon immunity to Hail damage.
Niche: A new way for Pokemon to set up Aurora Veil even if they can’t normally learn the move but can still set up Hail.
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Auroros line, Articuno, Regice, Cryogonal, Jynx line, Froslass, Glaceon, Suicune, tempted to include Xerneas but that’s probably bad

Name: Nulled Out
Existing Ability?: N
Effect: Upon being sent out, eliminates stat changes of all Pokemon in battle. Also prevents all Pokemon in battle from changing their stats using status moves as long as the Pokemon is out.
Niche: Switch directly into that set up attacker and stop them in their tracks without having to use Haze. Attack moves that can change Pokemons’ stats can still change them, just as long as they are not status moves like Dragon Dance or Calm Mind.
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Some Haze users including Crobat line, Toxapex line, Weezing line, Cofagrigus line, Tentacruel line, Dusknoir line, Skuntank line, Mantine line

Items:
Name: Weather Defender’s Crystal
Existing Item?: N
Effect: Consumable. When a weather is active, this peculiar crystal increases the holder's Defense and Special Defense stats by 1 stage each, then dissipates.
Fling: 60 BP
Removable via Knock Off?: Yes
Ignored by Klutz?: Yes
Niche: Weather stall team needs some help? This is the defensive counterpart to the Weather Warrior’s Crystal, and it can greatly increase a Pokemon’s bulk and help a sweeper or wall.

Name: Weather Runner’s Crystal
Existing Item?: N
Effect: Consumable. When a weather is active, this peculiar crystal increases the holder's Speed stat by 1 stage, then dissipates.
Fling: 60 BP
Removable via Knock Off?: Yes
Ignored by Klutz?: Yes
Niche: If your weather sweeper needs some extra speed, this could be a great hold item.

Name: Unwareness Bracelet
Existing Item?: N
Effect: Hold item that allows the holder’s moves to ignore opposing Pokemons’ type immunities, but prevents the holder from using status moves. Does not ignore abilities.
Fling: 50 BP
Removable via Knock Off?: Yes
Ignored by Klutz?: Yes
Niche: Pretty much a broader version of Scrappy in item form (or a reverse Ring Target?), this item allows the user’s moves to bypass type immunties in terms of effectiveness. You still can’t hurt a Volt Absorber with an Electric-type attacker, but you can now hurt a Ground-type with one. It also can’t bypass type-based status immunities, for example you can’t inflict Paralysis on Electric-types or Burn on Fire-types. But Dragons can touch Fairies, Poison can hit Steel, Ground hits Flying, and so on. I attempted to balance the item by preventing the holder from using status moves, so you can’t simply boost, set up, or heal while holding this item.

Name: Serenity Brace
Existing Item?: N
Effect: Protects the holder from the secondary effects of opponent’s moves.
Fling: 50 BP
Removable via Knock Off?: Yes
Ignored by Klutz?: Yes
Niche: Now you can prevent the opponent from using their hax spam on you. Useful for guarding against those annoying Scald burns, Discharge paralysis, Jirachis, and more!

Pokemon:

New type:
/

New Moves: Power Gem, Stealth Rock, Sandstorm
Rationale: It’s a possessed sarcophagus, which is made of stone.
Competitive Value: A useful new STAB move, a new Ghost-type Stealth Rock setter, and boosted special defense in a sandstorm which makes it even bulkier.

New type:
/

New Moves: Water Gun, Aqua Jet, Waterfall, Liquidation, Scald, Hydro Pump
Rationale: Tynamo is clearly a fish, Eelektrik and Eelektross are basically lampreys, plus Eelektross’ Pokedex suggests it lives in or near the ocean. Their 3D sprites look like they’re always swimming.
Competitive Value: Eelektross becomes the only physically offensive Electric / Water type, it gets new STABs to use against Ground-types, and it is now more distinguished from all of the other mono-Electric types out there.

New type: Water / Fairy
New Moves: Dazzling Gleam, Play Rough, Moonlight
Rationale: It’s a healer Pokemon and it’s all pink. It does get some Psychic-type moves but Fairy is a better defensive typing.
Competitive Value: A secondary Fairy-typing gives it some extra resistances (and a Poison weakness, I know) and differentiates it from the other mono-Water types.

Effect: Increases the power of Normal-type moves by 20% and then changes them to Dragon-type.
Niche: Gives certain Dragon-types powerful, more spammable alternative STAB moves other than Outrage/Draco Meteor (i.e. Hyper Voice, Return/Frustration, Extreme Speed, etc.)
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Dragonite, Kingdra, Flygon? (has Boomburst lol), Salamence?, Garchomp?, Haxorus, Hydreigon?, Tyrantrum, Drampa

More coming, WIP
the niche section for Frost Wave is wrong, it's not a recovery move.

Effect: When held by Ice types, they gain 50% damage resistance and Leftovers, but if removed, the effects are inversed until the mon switches. On non-Ice types, they take Leftovers sized damage and are slowed by 1 stage.
Removable via Knock Off?: Y
Ignored by Klutz?: N
Niche: Poor low defense ice types. Many wish they could tank, their resistance chart says they should not. A little something from the ice box wouldn't hurt.
Fling Power: 30

Name: Metal Coat
Existing Item?: Y
Effect: When held, user gains a Steel type which could lead to 3 typed mons. On Steel types, raises both defenses by 33%
Removable via Knock Off?: Y
Ignored by Klutz?: N
Niche: Possibly broken? Give it to something that levitates or Flies for great effect... or a ghost.
so Ice Box basically removes all weaknesses from a mono-ice type and then makes it resist every other type it wasn't weak to, in addition to leftovers? absolutely should not happen, even if Knock Off is around imo
also 3 typed mons are a bit complicated, so I'm iffy on Metal Coat

Are you sure you want these to be a thing, my man?! The addition of Steel-typing is passable, cuz' it gives the likes of Volcarona more set up opportunity at the cost of a Z-Move, or maybe add a Steel-type to Landorus-T, Toxapex, or whatever, but please, no 4/3x bulkier Ferrothorn and Celesteela!

They are changed. Ice Box now still provides Leftovers, but only halves rock. However to be fair, non-ice types take 50% more from ice moves.

Metal Coat is now Physical Assault Vest.
