The point of the move is to hit a type you normally couldn't, it has to be Ground; that was the whole point.

Solrock- Added that too (I tend to forget things this weak exist. Doesn't really change much with its 55 SPA and no STAB... but hey.)

As for Espeon. As much as it pains me, (Eevee is actually my favourite pokemon) if the Sun pokemon already can't learn Solarbeam as a TM, and neither can Flareon (unlike every other fully evolved fire type in the game) it probably can't learn this move either. It seems unless you're Vaporeon you don't get to blatantly infringe on a cousin's territory. Okay, Umbreon uses Psychic too, but what's it gonna do with it?

As for Gravity Bomb, somehow a move that attacks by manipulating gravity feels Special to me. (Granted the fall itself- very physical). I know this would severely affect its usefulness because physical type is physical (only four fully evolved ground types have equal or better SpA than Atk with Camerupt being the only one in triple digits- MAN these guys are predictible!), but this as a special variant gives it another reason to be used over Knock Down or a stronger Rock move. Ground and Rock do go pretty well together. Though not as well as Ice and Water...

If you hate Water-types so much, then make a move that crushes them.

Explanation on Gravity Bomb:

1) Gravity Bomb is Ground because gravity on earth comes from the ground.
2) Gravity is Psychic because you use Psychic abilities to affect the intensity of gravity.
3) Gravity is physical because the attack causes opponents to smash into the ground, physically hitting the opponent.

That's a good point. Though considering that its packing V-Generate already (which is even more powerful and also won't miss at full power thanks to that ability, it probably isn't as destabilizing to the game as it looks. (Outside of the sun anyway- that may need to be removed if Victini has access to it). This just complements Special Sets while V-Generate does physical.
