Given that they are obsolete when we get +3 weapons, I think it doesn't matter as much since they are only for certain DRs. Also, I can cast a spell to make them mwk if needed later when we have downtime.

So, guys, what scrolls should I get? Remove Paralysis, sure, but... there have to be some others I can get. Weapon of Awe? Augery? Enthrall? Aid?

Also, I'm thinking of getting silver morningstar and cold iron longsword or something like that, but... um... Also, MWK or not?

I was going to go for heavy mace, but +70 gp from silver (and +7 weapon cost) at just a 1d6->1d8 upgrade

Basically, I'm now rethinking my build. I'm thinking of level 5 being a level of Paladin, and levels 6-8 being levels of Iheritor's Crusader. Level 5 feat: Iron Will, Level 7 feat: Combat Casting, Level 9 feat: Craft Magic Arms and Armor. This means that I would rework my spells prepared to reflect this change to melee - I still would not have Power Attack, I should note. So, opinions, guys?

I suggest going over through a list of neat items to buy/craft before settling to a build. Your wealth+crafting feats could allow some powerful items to be acquired on a much lower level than usual. By level nine you might be poor as serfs. Who knows? (I don't!)

Then again, a +2 to Will never hurts and might make a difference more often than doubling one's damage per round would.

Well, the Prestige Class also gives lots of rerolls against charms, compulsions, etc, but I could stay the Cleric course, get the crafting now, and wait for level 7 to take Iron Will (and Paladin), 8-10 would be the PrC (Level 9 gives me Combat Casting, to further enhance doing stuff in melee, like say "Bestow Curse" spell)...

Also, since the PrC stacks with Paladin for Smite evil effects, would having Paladin 1/Crusader 3 give me 2 smite evil/day as a paladin 4 would?

I think it should, don't remember the exact wording though.
