90 damage for zero energy cost. It sounds too good to be true. Well it isn't. With Felicty's Drawing and Regice, you can quickly get those Magikarps in the discard without sacrificing prizes to your opponent for free. Considering cards like Cyclone Energy, Warp Point, Luxray and Regice can shuffle your opponent's field layour around, making it easier for your Gyarados to just pick shit off. Sableye, Azelf, Uxie and Combee aid in getting Magikarps in your hand faster, and in the case of Combee, can even restore a Karp/Gyara in case it dies.

Try to avoid going on a rampage until you have three Magikarps in the discard and a Belted Gyarados, since then you can OHKO everything in safety. It's also a good idea to have BTS in play always and a Super-Scoop Up in play, in case they pull a randomly strong Mon, or something with your Weakness. Avoid having Regice in the Active unless it is absolutey necessary. Until you start sweeping, Sableye or even Combee should be your active.

This is a pretty good deck, even though it is stopped cold by the likes of LuxChomp and Jumpluff (who can abuse the Combee, Regice and Sableye sitting on your bench), and it takes longer than most decks to get going, but if you can pull it off, the rewards are vast. Do be warned however, that unless you can KO their main hitter first, you aren't going to be putting much pressure on them. Use Luxray or Cyclone Energy to lure out their big player before using Tail Revenge, as this will ensure maximum chance of success.

Deck Rating: 8/10
Despite its two weaknesses being some of the top-played decks around, this can still win matches easily and with great power. This deck rewards being risky, but it also punishes you very hard if you get it wrong.

Why not have warp energy? The point of having Luxray GL X in the deck is to bright look something up and kill it with Gyarados, but if you can't bring up luxray its a waste.

if you were stupid enough to waste all your Warp Points getting Gyarados out there you don't deserve to use Luxray's PokePower

Gyarados doesn't need Claydol, it relies on a MASSIVE hand size to increase the amount of things it an do to recover from a dead Gyarados. Expert Belt is to have a 150 HP Stage 1 that can do 110 for 0 energy, which is pretty HARD CORE.

Also, I'd drop 2 Pokemon Collectors for 2 Buck's Training and maybe try to add a few Plus Powers somehow. Dark energy is not really necessary.

So when someone drops judge you have to top deck a uxie? Granted they also may hold a power spray? IDK consistent draw seems very good.

Bucks and Plus Power is as old as worlds last year. There is no reason to drop Collectors and Dark energy (which gives you the "donk factor")

You don't need collectors outside of T1/2 so having 4 is excessive. Bucks and PP are great because they allow you to add an extra 10 damage out of nowhere, when you want to avoid using a Crobat G/PokeTurn

And yeah, Gyarados has always been weak to good hand disruption if used The Turn it is knocked out (Unless it is paired with Floatzel G Lv X)

4 would not be excessive if you ran 3 collectors 2 roseannes (to net you basic energy).
The point of running 4 is to have mad consistency grabbing basically your whole deck of techs (and karps).
why would he need the extra damage with expert belt and if he added a 4th turn? Crobat G does a much better job of placing damage (since you can "chase" a pokemon that is moved to the bench)
And Floatzel G is a joke Fabien (french that created GDos) and testing has proven to be inconsistent. Anyways Nats testing has proven that this deck cannot compete it has become to slow for this current format, and with the lose of Felicities it will drop out as a dominant deck for next format also.

2 Regice and 2 Uxie aren't needed.

This is similar to what I almost ran at nationals, decided to play Pluff cause I had two byes and I didn't want to think. >_>

Gdos is just a bad deck now. Losing (or bad matchup)to the "second best" deck Sablelock. Besides, Jumpluff is Gdos but better at every aspect.
