So this deck may not be lolbullshit like CIM's deck, but it's still pretty solid and it's won me my fair share of matches.
Pokemon: 23
3 Larvitar UL
2 Pupitar SF
3 Tyranitar SF
WHAT? A Darkrai-based deck not built on Honchkrow? Surely you jest! Nope. Tyranitar is the heart of this deck. capable of dishing out some serious damage with its Grind attack, which deals 20 x the number of Energy equipped to it. On top of that, Darkness Drive forces the opponent to make a choice: Do I use that Claydol / Uxie / whatever and let Grind get powered up even more? It also rescues energy spent on either fainted Pokemon or retreat costs. Standard 3-2-3 layout.
3 Darkrai GE (3)
1 Darkrai Lv. X GE
If Tyranitar is the heart, Darkrai Lv. X is the soul. Reach Over is kinda cool early on to pull Energy out of my deck if I need it, and Endless Darkness is really, really gay to face, but the real benefit is Dark Shadow. With Darkrai Lv. X in play, Grind now does effectively 30x Energy, meaning that Tyranitar can start hitting hard pretty damn fast.
2 Spiritomb AR
4 Sableye SF
The Dark Squad. Spiritomb just pisses off opponents, while either autopulling my Pupitar/Tyranitar for me and giving me general breathing room against decks reliant on Rare Candy for important shit. Sableye gives me insane raw drawing power, letting me pull Supporters early on, and double supporter midgame. Overeager also starts off most games on the right foot, and if worse comes to worse it has a cheap attack that can be pumped up by Darkrai Lv. X. I originally had some lolWeavile Nasty Plot tutoring action, but replaced it when I realized that having a Stage 1 tutor is kinda dumb, and I never used Dark Pulse for attacking purposes.
2 Azelf LA
1 Uxie LA
1 Baltoy GE
1 Claydol GE
The standard tech squad. Azelf is doubled up on because if Darkrai Lv. X is in my Prizes it really, really sucks, and if both Darkrai Lv. X AND Azelf are in my prizes, I'm pretty much boned.
Trainers: 22
3 Premier Ball GE
4 Rare Candy GE
2 Warp Point DP
1 Luxury Ball SF
4 Engineer's Adjustments UL
2 Bebe's Search MT
2 Roseanne's Research SW
2 Expert Belt AR
2 Moonlight Stadium GE
Again, fairly standard core. Engineer's Adjustments allows me to draw hard while depositing energy in the Discard pile for use with Darkness Drive. EBelts are self-explanatory, and Warp Point / Moonlight Stadium let me pull retreat hijinks with Darkrai and Tyranitar.
Energy: 15
15 Darkness Energy
Yeah yeah, only Darkness Energy here. I was considering DCE because it gives an automatic 40 damage to Grind and lets me attack right off the bat, but it can't be pulled with either Roseanne's Research or Darkness Drive, and none of Darkrai's attacks require CC.
