Ok, so I had two kinda wacky ideas for what to do in this group. The first was we do like an RP type thing where we have two people "battling" and judges who decide the winner.
Then I had a different thought: What if somehow we connected Pokemon to battling? Here was my idea:
Each person would have 6 Pokemon based off the 4 elements. Each Pokemon on the team could only use moves that corresponded with their type.
Here is the list:
Earth Kingdom: "Earth Bending" Pokemon would have to be either Ground, Rock, or Steel. They can only use moves that are those types of moves.
Water Tribes: "Water Bending" Pokemon can be either Water, Grass, or Ice types. They can only use Water, Grass, and Ice attacks
Fire Nation: "Fire Bending" Pokemon can be either Fire or Electric type. As with the others, they can only use moves of that type.
Air Nomads: "Air Bending" Pokemon would have to be either Flying or Psychic type. As usual, they can only use moves of those two types.
The Avatar: Each team is also permitted to have one "Avatar." This Pokemon can use moves from all 4 elements (but is required to have one move from each element. I.E. Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Psychic, Stone Edge)
Other Types: Pokemon may also use Normal and Fighting attacks, to represent non-bending strikes
Other: The teams could be based off of all the Elements, or we could have "war" between the nations and you can only use one Element on your team.
