Practicing is a good word. I am not a banging on doors evangelizing kind of Christian (alhtough I have done that) but I believe in Jesus with my whole heart and I try to live for Him. I still have struggles with sin and selfishness.

I would say a "nonpracticing Christian" isn't a Christian at all. "Practicing" doesn't mean that you have to be a Billy Graham or Hudson Taylor or anything, but Christianity is a relationship with God which requires obedience and prayer to be real.

Struggling with sin is universal, the important thing is that we're struggling with it and not blatantly doing it without a second thought.

Yes, I agree. As long as you are trusting Jesus to help you live for Him, it is not your track record that matters it is God.

I am a Christian who was baptized, and although I wouldn't exactly say I'm highly religious and follow things to the tee -- I definitely: Appreciate God, believe in God, say my grace before meals, say my prayers at night, and know that He has the kingdom, the power, and glory forever.

I'm a practicing Christian. I've been reading Rick Warren's A purpose driven life and I would like to start serving God in a ministry in my church. Also, I'd like to evangelize with both my words and my actions. I pray that the Holy Spirit helps me in this task.
