Here we discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the four elements: Air, Water, Earth, and Fire. We also talk about which element is your favorite.

Personally, I am a fan of Air and Fire. They seem to be the least limited of the four elements. Meanwhile Water and Earth are limited to if you have that particular substance nearby.

Earth. Earth is so strongth, and it's the only element that can make permanant structures. (Ice melts.) Not coincidentally, Toph was my favorite protagonist in Avatar. Fire is my next favorite because it's (imo) the next strongest element, and, Zuko was my second favorite protagonist. I liked the others pretty much equally.

Air and Fire can be used almost anywhere, so I think they have the most uses. Meanwhile most Earthbenders cant Metalbend. So if you put them in a metal cage they cant do anything.

I'm sure that Toph started teaching people to do it eventually. Remember Korra mistakes some popo for metal benders?

^Hence I said "most," as a lot of the other Earthbenders (including Korra herself), can't Metalbend

Water-bending though it is limited has many uses, being quite capable in its liquid form for fighting, it also gets a touch more deadly when turned into ice... then the scariest aspect of it is Blood bending..yeah it can only be used in full moons but would be excellent for assassinations.... Yeah enough of the scary stuff..you got plant bending and finally the best part of waterbending..being able to heal those around you and yourself... actually not my favourite but you would probably want a water bender in your group if you lived in their world.

^Unless you're Tarlokk or Yacone-- they can (could actually) do it at will. Now that is some serious sh*t
