The left hand of God, by Paul Hoffman, Oliver Twist, by Charles Dickens and The Godfather, by Mario Puzzo are my favorite books. If you have some time, read them.

Leviathan and Behemoth by Scott Westerfeld, the Secrets of the Immortal Nicolas Flamel Series, the Bartimaeus Trilogy, the NIght Angel Trilogy, anything by Eoin Colfer, Redwall, Discworld and anything else by Terry Pratchett, any Agatha Christie, Harry Potter, anything by Cornelia Funke (especially Inkspell, Inkheart and Inkdeath), Garth Nix (especially Keys to the Kingdom), A Series Of Unfortunate Events except the last one, because the plot will be more resolved if you don't read it, Hunger Games Trilogy except for the last one because it is CRAP, most Anthony Horowitz, Matthew Reilly, Rangers Apprenctice...*breathe deeply*...MAybe I should stop now

Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series is amazing

I'm late as usual, but I'd recommend The Lords of Discipline, by Pat Conroy. Amazing book, and one that I'm glad I read.
