let's face it; as fun as this game is, not everything works the way you want it to, and that just leaves a few objects that are efficient for most levels and puzzles etc. Although it would be cool to beat a level one way, unfortunately it just won't work, so you just need more rope.

Example: I find it extremely easy to beat many levels with just a Pterodactyl and some rope/chain. (Speaking of Pterodactyl, besides Pegasus, what other flying mounts are there in the game? I haven't found any) Also, in many cases, just to get to where you want to go, you have to type in wings or jetpack so you can get to a higher area easily.

on the flying mounts thingy: ufo works like pegasus, only faster. Sadly it isn't really a mount :P

And the only thing that really bothered me was the fact I cant stand near cliffs without falling to my unavoidable death. And then again, there _could_ be more options, but programming all that in would've taken ages so I'm happy with what they crammed in :D

I know what you mean. I find myself using at least two of Pegasus, Rope/Chain, Ooze, Fireball, Diving Gear, Wings/Jetpack, and Air Vent/Large Air Vent on almost every level.

Syphnx and Archaeoptrx both fly also. I know what you mean though, using creative things is nice but there's a lot of things that just work too easily.

This morning, I was on a level I'd already beaten the required 4 times, blah blah blah. Just messing around.

So the Starite was on the other side of a wall, to get to it you had to either swim under, dig through, or fly over the wall. So first I put some otters in the water. Then I got a whale. I put a saddle on the whale. I put scuba gear on myself. I gave myself a machete. I used the whale to sail around the water, watched the otters, and then got the Starite.

Here is a math equation for you:

Whale+Saddle+(2)Otters+Scuba Gear+Machete=Scuba Gear

Yeah.

One problem is the fact that it punishes you for going over par, and has a slightly strict limit on what you can have at any time. This restricts the creativity of solving any given level.

I hope they improve on that if they make a sequel.

Roc is a hovering, flying mount, slower than a Pteranodon but otherwise similar. I think about 80% of the puzzles can be solved with a hovering flyer and some rope.

Dunno many flying mounts, but if you attach a jetpack to yourself and mount an animal it gives the same effect, but it only lasts as long as a jetpack would.

Also, I find "god" very effective in most levels, considering he beats everything.

Have you even rode a chi?
