Hello Everyone ! I´m new here and i am surprised to encounter this group, of players who are really interested in the balance of the actual pokemon metagame in general.
I looked at most of the threads in here and saw some with things i had already thought of and other good stuff, but sadly most of them are focused in making new moves to fix things, rather than utilizing the actual moves, abilities & etc. that are in-game to fix pokemon who deserve an update to keep up to the current metagame. Because of this i think this should be started all over again to fix things first with what the game already has and maybe later after doing the majority of things, then create or change some needed moves or abilities etc.
To do this we need to be very logical when it comes down to changing moves, typings & abilities on any pokemon, following pokedex info and the knowledge about the pokemon itself since for example a pokemon with no arms should not be capable of using the ability Iron Fist or any elemental punches, unless of course it´s pokedex entry info says otherwise.
I know this is very difficult to achieve, specially with all the mental process & testing it involves. Anyway just my thoughts.
