is not standard team format. Tauros and Exeggutor are much closer to "givens" than anything else and yet they're slashed up :(

Anyway, the key to creativity is to use unique moves with some cool effect, most notably Amnesia. Or to just vary with moves on your standard Pokemon, e.g. Hyper Beam Starmie/Exeggutor.

i really loved to use scyther in my teams, despite the only atack he had to hit gengar was wing atack (i used this on the set lol) i really liked the dragon bug (he look a little like a dragon IMO) i also used..let me see...well nothing really special, sandslash and even blastoise once in a while, i DO remember using raichu too! besides that, not much else. nite was my main though i dont consider him creative.

Electrode was always my lead back then, just because of his high crit rate.

Persian, Jolteon, and Lapras are really strang and POWERFUL underrated dudes. Jolteon's speed and ch rate can really break a lot of bones late-game. Same with Persian. Lapras' movepool is versatile enough to pawns like dog

Also as of late i've been observing spies and his Dodrio destroy a lot of dudes. of course, i tried to kick his ass and fail,

I use Cloyster and DNite like a pro.

The less creativity could be what make RBY unique. Even with nearly the same team, each battle is completely different. And this also means that there is no team advantage. In RBY the surprises are send the correct Pokemon in the correct moment, or surprise your opponent with an uncommon attack in the correct moment.

Surprises also occur when you bring in a pokemon your opponent isn't familiar with. Seasoned players, however, quickly work out what to do against it.
