I have gathered the teachings of Manav95. Turn to these quotes when you are found wanting.

Here The Great Manav95 (henceforth referred to as TGM) teaches us that we, as Smogonites, are on the true path to enlightenment. However, it is unfortunate that others in the competitive Pokemon community are not, committing atrocities such as making their own rules and tiering systems - defying the might of Smogon, and deviating from the perfection of Smogonism. We must be aware of the dangers of wanting to rebel against the mighty Smogon.

People misunderstand us and think we are trying to turn Pokemon into a dull, boring game. Yet many good teams on this site often have a creative element to enhance their effectiveness. 1 OU team spammed Aggron's recoilless Head Smash as its focus. 1 hail team used a Nidoqueen as it was the best Pokemon for the job. Uxie is in the top 15 OU leads. Does this suggest we too are looking for creativity? Alas, the answer is difficult to find and it appears that a balance is what Smogon prefers.

In this
passage quote, TGM dispels the harmful, malicious rumours about Smogonism. We, he says, do not discourage creativity; we, in fact, search for it in the darkness. TGM teaches in the last sentence that it is important that we do not serve two masters - we cannot be analytical and fully creative at the same time. Smogonism provides the perfect, comfortable balance between the two.

In this short passage, TGM shows us the dangers of the Dream World Trap - down that road lie many hidden dangers, such as *shudder* Perversity Heatran with Overheat!

Correcting my previous post, what I meant to say was that since no one wants to work on Pokelab anymore we may have to switch to PO. PO seems to have a greater share of noobs(i.e bad players) who think that stuff like Gardevoir and Charizard are better than Pokemon like Lucario and Gyarados despite plenty of evidence including stat analysis, movepool analysis, and usage stats to the contrary and that Smogon is evil for grouping Pokemon by tiers. The easiest way to bring all these noobs in and teach them the most effective strategies would be to relocate to PO. Besides Smogon is not that elitist. We don't flame noobs as much as Smashboards does.

TGM teaches that compassion, together with a healthy dose of elitism, is a core value of Smogonism. We Smogonites should take pity on the ill-advised Pokénoobs of this world and, rather than brush them aside with our great power, we should instead prepare them for the great Smogonistic Domainion in the sky with our scripture and values. TGM expresses his dislike of Pokemon such as Gardevoir, much preferring Pokemon such as Lucario. If anyone here has the former on there team, let them switch it for Lucario now, or forever hold their penis.

TGM recognises that the loss of Cathy hurts Smogonism gravely. Without Cathy, Smogonism lacks the administrative capacity to succeed. Cathy will forever will be a martyr in Smogonism - she will be forever remembered, and forever respected.

Bask, mere mortal, in the power of his rhetoric! This passage proves that TGM's brilliant control over words can persuade the masses and convert them to Smogonism.
